I’ve never like Olivia Wilde (IDEK, haven’t watched anything she’s done; I do think she’s so, so pretty), and I have never gotten Harry Styles either. So, on the one hand, this mess is delicious. But on the other hand, you know Zazlov and other crusty rich white suits are going to look at this clusterfuck and think, “Lady directors, amirite?”

Sometimes, from some angles, I get a River Phoenix vibe from Harry Styles. That seems to be enough to make me like him. To me, that’s insulting to River.

I was a big River fan. Facially, there is some resemblance at certain angles. Not as cute as River but I think that’s what drew me in to Harry initially.

Sometimes, from some angles, I get a River Phoenix vibe from Harry Styles. That seems to be enough to make me like him. I can see that, it's the snub nose I think. I've always liked Harry, he seemed like he had a personality right from the get go in his X factor audition and I enjoy a lot of his music (and have more 1D songs in my playlists than I'd ever like to admit. And once I stumbled on a Youtube video that labeled who sings which parts of their songs, I discovered it was Harry's voice that I'd liked most in those songs, with Zayn second). He's made a convincing go of it as a solo artist and if PAB Justin Timberlake can shoehorn his ugly ass into movies here and there, I don't care if Harry does it too. I have to admit that this circus has certainly piqued my interest in this movie, which I had not heard of up to this point. This might say more about me than anything, but are there people who don't forget that they used to love someone after they break up? I get the overall point that she is maybe too free with her discussion of her personal life and in particular, her sex life, but I've never understood how people wouldn't forget that they once loved someone once a bad breakup occurs, for me, the bad memories wipe out the good.

This might say more about me than anything, but are there people who don't forget that they used to love someone after they break up? Brad and Gwyneth, Madonna and Sean. I know lots of people who retain fond feelings and love for their exes. And then others can't acknowledge that their ex has any good qualities whatsoever, and I think Olivia is that type.

I think Olivia's problem when it comes to talking about her lovers and exes is she goes to such extremes that we all know she's not being honest. The best sex of your life can't suddenly be horrible in bed. Both are lies meant to get her attention. It annoys me when friends of mine gush over their spouses on social media. I read it and think "log off, look him/her in the eyes and say it to him/her". I feel the same way about celebrities who offer TMI on their relationships. Answer questions, fine. But keep the intimate things intimate

I get the Harry Styles hype after seeing him host SNL. There's something very magnetic and sexy about him and his confidence. I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers, as they used to say.

[(See also: Saying in a public speech shortly after getting together with Jason Sudeikis that they were having sex like Kenyan marathon runners.) I know she's been following Harry around the world and showing up at his shows dancing in the audience, and I feel like she has no desire to keep a lid on it at all. I, on the other hand, barely know who she is and this is what I remember about her! The marathon runner quote. TMI! I’ve never heard this quote but I don’t even understand the Hows of working that into a public speech. Like what was the context or topic? Kenyan athletes? Safe sex?

Apparently she said it at At These Girls, which was an evening of monologues hosted by Glamour magazine back in 2012. linkThough the context doesn't make it any less eyerolling for me.

Harry Styles couldn’t be a booger in River Phoenix’s nose. Having said that, I hope this inevitably terrible movie isn’t held against ALL female directors!
