They revamped the old submarine ride that was in Tomorrowland for that, no? No, they did that for the Finding Nemo ride at Disneyland.

Sorry, chiqui, I can't quote on this device, but no, the submarine ride in Disney World is gone. It was in Fantasyland for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, but it had a lot of breakdowns, which is common with water-based rides. When the whole thing is under water, it's even worse. The Little Mermaid attraction is a whole new build, kind of behind the old sub area. That was fenced off when we were there, but I understand they built the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Mine Coaster there, or something like that.
I don't count restaurants or meet-and-greets as attractions.

After having this play in my house constantly and with Once Upon a Time focusing on the main characters this season, I am so confused about how the role of Queen/King, Regent, etc. goes in this damn country. FrozenPrincess Elsa becomes Queen (Regent?) once her parents die, but doesn't ascend to the thrown due to her age. She was supposed to be what, 15 when her parents died? Who was running the country in the interim? Prince Hans of the Southern Isles is 13th in line for the throne (granted none of his older brothers has any children) in what, the Southern Isles? Or in line for Arendelle? Wouldn't that make Hans possibly related to Elsa and Anna? (Not that it matters) Hans hoped to kill Elsa, marry Anna and then kill her and then become King? How the hell does he figure? Just because you marry a Princess or one that becomes Queen due to an older siblings death as Queen, only makes you a Prince. You would not become King, nor would you have ruling abilities. Clearly the next in line would ascend. When Hans claimed that Anna was dead, but they said their marriage vows before she died...he's now in charge? Is that even legal? Who witnessed this? You don't get shit, yo. Until Elsa is formally charged by the proper channels and you can prove treason, she's still Queen. Once they exposed Hans' scheme, he was sent back to his homeland for him to be "dealt with" by his older brothers. Once Upon a TimeThey are basically picking up from where the film let off. Everyone apparently accepting of Elsa's powers and all is good. However, they give us more to the story and the family tree. Possible spoilers for those that aren't caught up on the show: Spoiler Princess Ingrid (oldest), Princess Helga (middle) and Princess Gerta (youngest, and mother of Elsa & Anna) - all live in the castle as the next in line to their father's throne who is King of Arendelle. After Helga is killed by Ingrid on accident and Ingrid is banished to an urn due to her ice powers by her sister Gerta, Gerta is now the sole living child who is then to become Queen. HOWEVER, clearly she marries Elsa & Anna's father and HE is King. How the hell did that happen?
And once Ingrid is restored to her true form, she is now the Snow Queen. Because obviously the line of succession shouldn't have changed and she would have been next in line. Especially now that Gerta and the King are dead.
What I don't get is how did the men in these women's lives become King over their own lineage? And last night, Hans pulled that "Anna, I convict YOU of treason for putting Queen Elsa in the urn! Now I'm King!" WTF? Someone please help me here. I get it's just a movie and a show, but the continuity is killing me.

Honestly, I've learned not to try to apply real-world logic to these things. Like why is Snow White now the mayor of Storybrook even though there's been no election or anything? I know it's frustrating but I think it's best to just ignore the inconsistencies if you still want to enjoy the movie and/or the show.

The thing that annoys me about Frozen (and there are others, but this is the one I think about most), is that the power anthem that you can't escape is basically mid-movie, and it's about how Elsa is going to build an ice castle and shut out people for the rest of her life. She is embracing her power, but also "letting go" of her past life and any hope for friendship and family.
I mean, I get why little girls like it, because she's singing herself into a sparkly dress, but did it also become so popular because it's the loudest song of the movie?
Also, Frozen is very weirdly paced.

"Let It Go" is probably my least favorite song of the movie. My favorites are "Love is an Open Door" and the summer song that Olaf sings.

MissP is 7. You've seen this years Halloween costumes. I am as tired as anyone of Let it Go.
But, dangit! Any song that gets little girls to belt out lyrics that include the phrase "frozen fractals" gets a lifetime pass from me.

My niece is 4, and all I can say is that her brothers now fully despise the Frozen soundtrack. She was a Transformer for Halloween though. Girl has a wide range of interests.

Does she do the foot stomp and hand motions, rat? Mine does, and I recently saw an entire group of kids in the child care center at Ikea doing the same thing.
