Woodrugh woke up with his ex-soldier/boyfriend. I doubt a random hookup would've offered waffles and insisted a stranger needs to just "be you bro, be free."
Jordan (redheaded girlfriend) referred to an 'operation' that may 'make it hard' for her to conceive, so I'm assuming she meant an abortion many years ago.

Dang, it's so hard to keep track of everyone on this show. I should watch this with the Imdb credits listing open at all times. I had no idea that was the same guy he punched in the face earlier.
I'm pretty sure Vince's wife had an abortion too, hence all the guilt and thinking it's her fault they're having trouble conceiving.

She said she had three operations. Does that mean three abortions? So she can't conceive?
I actually had some real feels for Colin when the asst states attorney, or whoever she was, said they found his ex's rapist. That was some pretty intense stuff. But I am confused. We still don't know if the red headed kid is his, okay, but what's the deal with the rapist? I am definitely missing something. My TIVO went out as Vaughn went to the door, so I missed the big cliffhanger of the week (Who's at the door?)
I admit I should be paying closer attention. I tried to find a good synopsis, but all the recaps seem to be about how disappointing the show is, not, like , THE PLOT! Where is TWoP when you need it?

Ray was at the door, all he said to Frank was "We need to talk" and then the episode ended. It took me a while to grasp it but what I think happened is Ray killed someone that had nothing to do with his ex-wife's rape, it was just someone Frank wanted dead for whatever reason. And Frank only told him it was the rapist so that Ray would be in his debt. Buzzfeed actually has a decent breakdown of the episode that I found quite helpful.

I looked at the BuzzFeed synopsisand found it really helpful, too. So, the blue diamonds. My memory is fuzzy and I am NOT going back and rewatching old episodes. Did they find the blue diamonds in Caspere's stuff and then they disappeared or did they just find pictures of them?

I have a loose grasp on what's going on, but I can't bring myself to care about the details. I'm trying very hard not to compare it to the first season, but the relationship between Harrelson and McConnaughey was one of the best things about it and I'm just not feeling much connection between the three detectives yet.

I am apparently alone in loving this season. It is a slow burn but after the past two episodes I feel like the story is SO interesting. Who did Frank want killed (ie. the not-rapist)? What's the link to the cult father? And I love all the stuff about Vinci/Vernon - such corruption!

I enjoy it, I just can't follow it that well.

I'm enjoying it too, I mean, it's my only real time TV at the moment, but I just got lost there for a second. I think it is incredibly hard to top the Matt and Woody show from last season, which I think was Golden Age of Television good, but I am enjoying this as well. Who would have guessed that the stoned high school trolling skeeveball and the dim barkeep from Cheers would be such great actors?

I enjoy it, I just can't follow it that well. Same here. I know the basic gist of the plot, but that's it. I too am waiting to see how David Morse ties into everything. And I did not know that Rick Springfield was playing the overly-plastic-surgeried guy until the credits rolled this week. Total shocker.
