She is so fucking stupid, I wonder how she wipes her ass correctly.
I'm thankful so far that none of her movies have appealed to me.
Insufferable.

Let me guess. She has very few girlfriends because girls are just so high maintenance while guys are just so easy going!

These comments don't seem to hurt her, The Fault in Our Stars made over 250 million worldwide.

Yeah, but people didn't go to see The Fault in Our Stars because Shailene was in it. They went to see it for the shmoopy romance.
She bugs me too. The fact that she felt the need to defend herself over her earlier comments on feminism, rather than admit she didn't know anything about feminism before she opened her mouth, speaks volumes about her. Accountability goes a long way, I have learned in life. Hopefully some day she just admits she had no idea what she was talking about.
I have only seen her work in The Spectacular Now. She was the weak point in that film, to me.

Shailene was just on Top Chef Duels. She's taller than I thought, and I do not like the short hair on her. She looks like a rabbit. She was the guest judge and the twist for the two chefs was foraging...they had to forage for their ingredients. The Chefs were Stefon and CJ (the giant 6'8" tree of a guy....pretty cute as well) Anyway, the flirtation between the two was off-putting. "What a guy, what a gal, we like to eat weeds and dirt and rocks, come to papa!" I was most surprised that she was a meat eater, somehow with all the rest I thought she would be a vegetarian at least. That's all I got.

She was perfectly poised and her speech was well articulated. It wasn't a bad speech, though she did mention how brave her movie was, which is so much bullshit. It's not brave to make a movie based on a beloved bestseller. It's just not. She always comes off as annoying to me, though I'm sure she's a fun and nice and well meaning young woman when she's not spouting off about ART and THE MEANING OF LIFE. I don't know. It might be George Clooney's fault. Maybe when she worked with him she got infected by his cloud of smug.

I'm weirdly in love with that dress. Oh, I finally watched The Fault in Our Stars a few weeks ago and HATED it. She wasn't terrible, though.

I don't even know if she wrote her own speech, probably, but I read that after Robert Duvall's speech was so long that they started to load some of the "winner's" speeches on teleprompters to get things to go faster.
