Did she even make an appearance at one football game this past season? She seemed to me like the most absentee football wife/girlfriend ever, which led me to believe this has probably already been over for months and they just wanted to wait until after the season to announce it. After their big public display over the summer she pretty much totally disappeared from view. And all the comments about how they didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things but just "agreed to disagree" didn't bode well.

I really liked Danica Patrick, but she was too good for Aaron.

I thought Shailene's quirkiness extended into making her own medicines, which suggested to me that she and Aaron are antivaxxers. Didn't she admit to not being vaxxed, or am I thinking of someone else?

That said this breakup is no surprise. He should try dating nonfamous women.

She hasn't said, but she filmed a series for Showtime that had a mandatory vaccination policy and it doesn't seem to have been an issue.

Remember when Jessica Simpson dated Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and there were fans booing her because they thought that she was ruining his performance by just showing up to his games? Hell, Cowboys fans called her ”Yoko Romo" and then-President George W. Bush blamed Jessica for Tony’s poor performance!
Women show up, and then they get criticized for their man’s decline in performance (perceived or real). Women don’t show up, and then they get called a “non-supportive” girlfriend or wife. It’s damned if you do and damned if you don’t, and that makes me absolutely hate sports fans for doing this to women because it’s sexist and misogynist. I understand Shailene not showing up, especially after the massive shit-storm about Aaron Rogers being an anti-vaxxer, most people didn’t realize they were together until they broke up, and that was a smart move on her part.

Maybe. Olivia Munn attended most every Green Bay home game when she was dating Aaron and I don't remember people giving her much of a hard time. Plenty of NFL girlfriends and wives attend games.

I know Shailene isn't a football fan, but either she said or sources said this past summer that the two of them didn't like to be apart too long and that she was going to support Aaron through the season, which I guess I took to mean physically in Green Bay. They were pretty visible as a couple after they went public so it didn't seem like she was trying to avoid the spotlight. But yeah, it's possible once the whole anti-vaxx storm whipped up she decided it was best to keep her distance. Maybe that was the beginning of the end.

Oh, people hated Olivia when he dated her and blamed her for his estrangement from his family. I'm no fan of Olivia, but she got the Jessica Simpson treatment as well. I don't remember people going after Danica Patrick that badly but I don't follow her much, so I may be wrong.

Just speculating but I think this breakup happened around the time he had covid and was caught lying about his vaccination status. That's when he was becoming really vocal with his anti-vaxx, anti-Biden stuff. He's a tool.

I know that Shailene is into natural products and lives a very healthy lifestyle but I don't think she she had problems with vaccinations. I believe she said that Aaron and her had agreed to disagree on some issues. I just don't think there is any disagreeing when you are with him.

There are always rumors, but I wasn't sure if Shailene was antivaxx as well. I had hoped she wouldn't be given that (I'm guessing) most Hollywood sets require proof of vaccination/Booster.
