I feel like Mindy frequently wears foundation on the red carpet that is too light for her skin tone. She needs to have a talk with her make-up artist. I feel like I recall her make-up being significantly darker in The 40 year old Virgin but who knows what time of year that was shot, maybe she was tanned at the time. Perhaps she doesn't realize how brown she truly is and insists on a lighter base. Who knows?

She wears too-light foundation on her show, too. Even my mom was like, "did Mindy lighten her skin? She was darker on The Office."
Makeup artists never get my skintone right either. Bringing your own base makeup is a really good idea - thanks for that tip, GossipGirl!

I'm super nosy, and dying to know who the father is. I always assumed that she and BJ Novak would find their way back to each other. Maybe he donated his sperm?  |

I've heard Mindy say before that she's not sure whether she'll ever get married because that part of her life doesn't seem to work out so well, but that she really doesn't want to miss out on having children.
So my first thought was that maybe she decided it was a good time to go ahead and have children, but I keep reading that the pregnancy was an "unexpected surprise".
Either way, it sounds like the beginning of a romantic comedy plot.

The fact that her show just started filming the final season makes me think her (still not confirmed) pregnancy was planned out. Like her show was ending, the bio clock was ticking, and since she has the means to support the child on her own she figured now's the time. But if it really is an "unexpected surprise," the timing seems pretty good.
