So I watched a few episodes of S3 'Kids Baking Challenge' on the Food Network, then foolishly read the forum to find out who won. What a mistake! The whole thread was complaints about how the children behaved, with quite a few posters calling Kamiyah, this adorable little black girl, "ghetto trash".

BTW, the children acted like actual children, not miniature adults.

I should have known better than to visit that bb.

Sometimes I do miss certain TWoP standards on previouslytv. The Survivor forum has a super-irritating new (I think?) poster who is triple and quadruple posting with fawning comments about other posters in every post. "I loved your posts, I sure hope you post more" "I hope you continue to watch and post" "That was great, please post more often" etc. In a 5-page thread, about 50% of the comments seem to be hers and I really wish she would STFU.

Click the little heart button if you need someone to know you liked their post, that's what it's there for!

Also, the current episode thread has devolved into people arguing about a possible pinned thread/post at the top of threads that addresses certain commonly discussed themes. They actually think the people who don't bother to read even a single post above their own "am I the only who noticed [topic that's been discussed for 5 pages]" post would read a pinned post? Bless their hearts...

Yeah, the day of the big, multi-fandom bbs are long gone. Previously will probably limp along for a couple more years before it's owners finally pull the plug. No great loss, it doesn't hold a candle to TWOP's heyday.

So I just registered to join you in this. GHScopioRules is her name. SHe drives me batty. In a way I think that's sad. Some people still want to be anonymous on the Internet, some people aren't into social media and some people don't have Instagram/Twitter.

FWIW, fellow posters, I meant that I think Previously.TV specifically is "over," not necessarily the world of the message board (ahem, like the one we have here.)
