I wonder if they sold the site again. If so, good for them I guess. It's pretty lackluster, but good for them if they sold it.

Yeah, it never did seem like the kind of community that TWoP or Fametracker had been (for better or worse). It's a pretty straightforward place to me, I only read and post in the forums and pay no attention to any of the content they generate, so it doesn't matter to me what they call it or who owns it. If they managed to get another big payday on such a basic site, good for them.

It doesn't seem to me that they're doing much at all in the way of content. They used to have recaps, or sort-of recaps, but now there's nothing but 90210, with the occasional podcast or article thrown in every now and then. Pretty much all the action on the site is in the forums. Which is fine - there are probably still a lot of people who like to talk about tv shows.

I hope the site stays. There are a lot of folks who don't want to go on Twitter to talk about TV shows. There are still people not into social media.

Count me in as another user to was surprised to see the name change. It's been two already, right? Geez. Three, I think. Mighty Big TV, Television Without Pity, Previously.TV and now Primetimer. If they sold the site are they just going to start another after this iteration shuts down like they did with TWOP?

Now I'm wondering if all the changes to the site they made a month or so ago were at the direction of the buyer or to make Previously.TV more attractive to a buyer.

They narrowed their podcasts down to just two (Extra Hot Great, and the 90210/Melrose Place podcast "Again with This") that have their own individual sites rather than storing things on Previously.TV. No idea if they plan on adding more podcasts or doing some sort of website thing again, but I know they got a book deal out of the "Again With This" podcast, so maybe they are just focusing there.

Well, that shows how much I paid attention, I didn't even realized they'd stopped with the content. Same. I still like the forum atmosphere and have never gotten into Twitter, so the site still has value for me. It seems like there's a rainbow flag as the new icon (or was that always there?), does that have any significance, I wonder? Or maybe it's not one, it might be a TV shaped icon with colors. I'll give them this, they have really found ways to make money off of silly TV talk. Same with the Fug Girls, a silly TWoP recapping gig really set them on an interesting, lucrative path!

I'm guessing it's supposed to be an old tv test pattern, like the ones that channels put up when they used to go off the air at night.
