New Board Functions - *NEW* Features Added June 24

Hi everyone,
I've been tinkering with some board upgrades and have a few new plug-ins for you to play with.
First up, I've enabled CUSTOM SMILIES for you to add to your posts. If you go to your profile and click on "edit profile" (button to the top right), then click "Settings" in the nav bar, you have the option of adding your own smilies to your profile. You can then access them when you post, and it's another way of customizing your board contributions.
We ask that you keep smilies to the same size as the current ones, so as to not disrupt board pagination, and please refrain from anything vulgar or offensive. We'll warn you if you cross this very simple line, so please don't disabuse this new function.
Here's another one...
You can now do a QUICK QUOTE of someone else's post by highlighting a section of text in their post (hold your mouse down and highlight the desired text) and then clicking the "Quick Quote" button that will magically appear on your screen. This will embed that portion of text into your post as a quote, and you can easily respond to it as you normally do. It cuts down on cutting and pasting, as the forum will now do it for you.
Spiffy, no?
Finally...
We now have a SPELL CHECKER!!
You'll see the button at the bottom of your text typing box. Click it and the system will highlight any questionable spelling.
Note this is only available in US English, so those of you with Commonwealth spelling proclivities will find your "colourful" language highlighted. ProBoards is working on a Queen's English version.
That's it for now. We're still working out some of the bugs, such as the "next page" pagination issue and our ongoing mobile access problems. Stay tuned as we further refine the board.
