Bumping this up to flame the fires of my crush on him. What a career-changing weekend for him, and after reading/watching multiple interviews, I have to say that I think at least 50% of his appeal is his off-screen personality. Like bklynred, I haven't heard much negative stuff about him from industry friends.
I kinda want to be a fly on the wall in his household.

I hope it was just a one-off. He gets pretty good feedback from folks I know in the industry. Maybe he was having a shitty day. (I don't want another crush to end up in flames.) How about learning that he is a recreational hunter? (Sorry!)

It would depend on the animal. My opinion on hunting is not what it once was. Deer hunting--I wouldn't do it, but I can't really come up with a good argument against beyond my own ethical framework. Same with bird hunting. Canned exotic hunting, or anything carnivore? Light up the torches. Also, most hunters I know just like the sitting around-drinking beer-freezing yer ass off part of the activity. OTOH, if he's an unbearable gun nut, that's crush-killing, too. ETA: Elk, antelope and coyote. To his credit, he speaks pretty spiritually about it, and not like a deranged ammosexual, but I couldn't live with it.

He and Anna seem very much in love I hope things don't change for them, it can be a bit of a strain I would think when a partner in a marriage like this suddenly becomes quite successful and is on the A list and the other partner isn't.

Didn't he just do an interview where he spoke to that? Something about guys hitting on his wife , while he was standing right there with her?

That was something he said that happened regularly at premieres and other events before he lost all the weight. He didn't name anyone, but he said they knew who they were and he hoped they auditioned for GOTG 2. I'm assuming so he could tell them to fuck off in person though he didn't come right out and say it.

Or he's hoping to use legitimate on the job reasons to get to punch them.

I really like Anna's sitcom, Mom, by Chuck Lorre of all people. He said the show is his apology for Two and a Half Men. She's a recovering alcoholic, so is her mother who lives with her, played by Allison Janney. Their sponser is played by Mimi Kennedy. Anna's character has two children, the teen girl gives her baby up for adoption in the first season. The show really does a good job of addressing addiction and how it affects generations, recovery, and it is also funny, if dark. I loved Parks and Rec too, so maybe Chris can guest on Mom.
