I don't think he has bad intentions, but he's kind of a dumb meathead. I'm pretty sure it's not intentional, but that just means he's so self absorbed that he can't think of how this would be perceived by his son when the entirety of the internet appreciated it. Neither is a good look. This is why I can’t give him much grace. Like I’m sure he didn’t mean it to be cruel but he’s just so narcissistic it didn’t even register how it was coming across. That’s bad too.

He surely could have thanked her for giving him a daughter or a beautiful daughter. I think the "healthy" part is really rankling people given his son's medical issues.
He’s either a clueless tool or an asshole.

People have too much time on their hands. And the folks throwing a stink have clearly never had a child with health problems or a child who has developed health problems shortly after birth. There is nothing wrong with a parent who has already had one child with health issues being happy that their subsequent children do not have health problems. It doesn't mean you don't love your child with health issues, it doesn't mean you blame the child's mother or father. It means having a child with significant health issues is scary, emotionally draining, and traumatic. Ask any soon to be parent on the planet and the one thing most will say is I just want them to be healthy. Social media was a mistake and people are becoming increasingly unhinged when it comes to celebrities, reading into every little comment, and projecting their own issues and feelings unto people they don't know and who don't know them.

IMO he posts a lot of things he does hiding behind his dopey Dwyer shield and his good ol'...oh was that provocative...I had no idea people would read what I wrote and get that from it. My bad, I guess? With that Trumpy vibe he exudes I think that if he wasn't an actor he totally would have been climbing some walls on January 6th.

Amen. The amount that is being read into Pratt's post and projected onto Pratt himself is utterly crazy to me. The guy posted something nice about his wife with a couple of dopey husband jokes and somehow that makes him someone who thinks his son was a punishment from God, hates his ex-wife, wishes America were the Republic of Gilead and is secretly a domestic terrorist.

What has he said that makes you think he would’ve participated in the overthrow of the US government? Tom and Lorenzo hypothesized that he knows the “vibe” that he gives off and the post was a trolling.

I can read the post ( with its admittedly not terribly funny or original jokes) in his usual mutter-out-the-side-of-his-mouth voice and I think had he said this in an interview, it would have landed a lot more softly. There's something about the written word that lends itself to more scrutiny and less context. I think the general tone of "she's amazing because she loves ME and she takes care of ME and she gave ME a beautiful child" is a bit cringe-y in its self-centeredness, but I can't imagine it was a dig at his previous relationship or the child from that relationship. He missed the mark he was going for, but not by so much that it could be called cruel toward Anna or their child, IMO.

I don't agree with all the craze about his post. He is a smarmy dude, that's for sure. But I don't think his post was ever meant to put Anna Faris down or their son. I agree that if he did this in an interview, it would be a lot different when it comes to tone. Tone is EVERYTHING and when it's just in a written post, it can be interpreted many different ways.
All that being said, I personally think he is still on a, "I'm married to Schwarzenegger's daughter! Arnold is my father-in-law!" high. That's where his head is when it comes down to it.
