I liked Chris on Parks and Recreation but yea, I have always gotten a bit of a douche vibe from him.

On why he won't take pics with fans.
Half of me gets it. The other half makes me go- shut the eff up. Brag about it later? Yah. That's what fans do. They meet someone they admire and enjoy and they are excited.

They meet someone they admire and enjoy and they are excited. Yea, me too. I was okay with what he was saying until the "brag about it later part." That's just a douchey thing to say. He gains a few points back for learning to french braid (and not using damaging rubber bands) his wife's hair.

He's one of 10 million guys I've met who just listen to themselves. His wife is the one responsible for the incident with their dog and co-responsible for the incident with their cat. He says and does a lot of things that are suspicious, borderline bad, or "bad but maybe there is an explanation". The animal stuff still falls into that last category for me. I don't feel like I have a solid reason yet to write him off completely.

What incident with their dog? Cat? I, surprisingly, don't pay much attention to them.
I just like her when I see her in stuff.

They meet someone they admire and enjoy and they are excited. I think if he had just said, "I don't take pictures with people when I'm out doing normal things, I have to be comfortable disappointing people," it would have been fine. He has this habit of saying a wee bit more than he should and sticking his foot in his mouth. To his credit, he seems like one of those celebs whom you could say, "hey, bonehead, THIS is why you're wrong," and he'd step back and take it in instead of getting defensive? I don't feel strongly about the guy, and that's mostly why. He might make a gaffe, but I've never gotten a particularly unrepentant vibe from his miscues.

What incident with their dog? Cat? I, surprisingly, don't pay much attention to them. If you read back, just 1 pg back or so, on this thread you will see it discussed. He and his wife have twice now neglected/abandoned pets in their lives. He's an asshole, and so is she (IMHO ; p) ** it's not just the abandonment, it was the callous response when called out that got to me.
