OK I FINALLY caught up. Watched the last 3 eps in a row. Bonnie is too petite to carry another girl up into a water tank. Damn, what did Sam have on Frank? Oliver Also, does anyone else think Wes is too sympathetic of a character? I keep trying to look for the catch. Poor Rebecca, she didn't actually do anything wrong. And ugh, Nate is so so so hot. I knew Rebecca was a goner when Annaliese said they would find her.

I'm just getting around to this, and WOW!
I'm going to guess that Bonnie killed Rebecca, since everybody seems to be guilty of something.
I'm inviting lightning bolts saying this, I know. I think Viola Davis is AMAZING in this show. She kills it every week - she does reflection, sadness, vengeful, and then conniving and nails it every time. And after all that, the tenderness and sweetness that she showed while sitting on the stairs was perfect. The gentle way she stroked his hair and rubbed his back was such a subtle way to show all her regret. Damn.
That said, they need to stop having her walk in skirts and heels. She does not have a particularly graceful walk and I think pants might camouflage that some.
ETA- Cicely Tyson is equally AMAZING. Brilliant casting.

So, it would seem some of us had the killer pegged.
Does Famke age?
Frank...bruh...damn that body. Can't believe Ben (from BtVS) grew into that deliciousness.
Wes is a creepy little dude. Something just ain't right with that boy.
Michaela, girl...what the hell are you doing?
Connor is kinda annoying me.
Asher is my spirit animal.

I'm sure Wes doesn't cap Annalise in 2 months, but it sure seemed like it in the final moments of tonight's episode. I have no idea how Annalise & team's going to get out of their predicaments. I hope it doesn't jump the shark like Scandal did. That will make me sad.
So Annalise and Famke's characters were lovers in college, then she married her therapist (Sam)....?? (And I agree, Famke looks amazing).
I still don't get Annalise's relationship with Wes. I keep expecting her to blurt out "He's my son!", but she keeps trying to seduce him. (EW). Any guesses who Eggs911 is? And I forget, why is Asher working with that prosecutor in Nate's case?
I'm starting to think Annalise, Frank, Bonnie and Wes are straight up sociopaths.

I'd forgotten the breakneck speed of this show.
Will Steven Culp be back, or was it just a one-off appearance? (At least he didn't die. He's died in almost everything I've seen him in)

I'm starting to think Annalise, Frank, Bonnie and Wes are straight up sociopaths. That's the best explanation for their behavior. If this was "American Horror Story," I'd think they were all possessed by an evil spirit occupying the house. I'd add the late Sam to the list but I think the phone call we saw may have been misdirection. It was nice seeing Annalise lying in a pool of blood - seems a natural consequence of all of the webs of deceit she is spinning. Famke and Bonnie both seem to be too obvious as suspects. Wes it out. Maybe someone yet to be introduced.

I like this show. I don't think anybody's a sociopath on this show, but I don't like to diagnose fictional characters. Now George Zimmerman, to me THAT'S a sociopath.

what did everything think of episode 2? I think it's going to be too over the top for me at some point this season...

I just started watching! Well, I binged the first season and now I am watching weekly. This show is ridiculous, but fun. I love that Viola Davis gets to play a lead role where she's a bisexual lawyer with love scenes and all kinds of opportunities to act the shit out of her scenes.
That said, this show is cray. Especially the second season so far. It's like they are packing in as much as possible in each episode, and at some point it's just going to explode narratively. Also, every single person on this show needs to go to jail and be away from society, because at the rate they're going everyone has a hand in 2-4 deaths every three months or so.

what did everything think of episode 2? I think it's going to be too over the top for me at some point this season... Yes, I'm definitely getting that OTT feeling. I think part of it is that, so far, the show is less balanced than the beginning of last season. Last year, we saw more of the underlings and their competitiveness, some law school stuff, and regular life stuff. We also had Annalise's "normal" marital problems, some stuff with Sam's career, etc. Plus, the case of the week grounded things. There needs to be a little bit more of that to counterbalance all the crazy.
