That is truly one of the most disgusting things I have ever read. What a low class motherfucker. All he wants is $$$. I don't think it's really about the money. It's more about punishing her for dumping his sorry ass and then marrying a better looking, more successful man. He's furious because she found happiness without him and this is the only recourse he has left to exert control over her and make her suffer.

The sad thing is that if the embryos were actually born he probably wouldn't want to take care of them.

He claims he doesn't want her money, but I bet if those embryos were to be born, he would be flaunting them all over the damn place. Can someone kill him already? Goddamn.

From the article: Keeping them frozen indefinitely is like killing them? However, the embryos are kept frozen until they are ready to be used, and they are presume to be viable while they are still frozen, right? I don't understand that argument. Also, why file in Louisiana? Does that state even have jurisdiction? I'm done trying to figure this out. At least these embryos weren't carried to term by a surrogate (unlike in Sherri Shepherd's case).

The guy's an ass, but I do find it massively hypocritical that Sofia used reproductive technology, and then wants to pull the Catholic card that they "can never be destroyed". Nope, you're either pro-science or not. They should have been destroyed when the relationship was over.

I forget what the original situation was exactly, but it probably would have been a better idea to freeze her eggs rather than freeze embryos. She and this guy always had a rocky relationship.

Frozen eggs don't thaw very well though, so they were probably advised to create embryos, which have a greater success rate.
This guy's undoubtedly a controlling dick, but Sofia isn't looking too great in this either - she demanded that 2 women who had abortions while they were with him be named and brought before a court? I've got no time for either of them.

Sofia called his bluff re: the women who supposedly had abortions while they were with him. He immediately withdrew his case from the CA court and filed in Louisiana. The judge in the Louisiana case should kick the case out of court. This guy is scum.

I don't know. I think they're both playing dirty. This is very ugly.

I don't blame her for playing dirty. This guy shouldn't be a parent and the fact that previous girlfriends have had abortions refutes his argument that he's desperate to be a father. He only wants these embryos to come to term to punish Sofia and he'd use the existence of these children to make their and her lives miserable.
