Has anyone here seen it yet? The girlfriend and I went out to see Birdman - which I passed on seeing last Christmas - and got to the theater 20min before show time and of course it was sold out! I should have gone last year.

American Sniper is going to make nearly 100 million its opening weekend. Wow.

It was a decent movie, nothing groundbreaking though. Bradley was good but I just do not like him as a muscle man so that kind of took me out of it.

I liked it well enough but there was a scene where an obvious prop was used and it took me out of the movie entirely. I was giggling for like three minutes.

I couldn't get spoiler tags to work but I'm not sure if it is really a spoiler. The scene with his family. The baby was clearly a doll. I guess they ran out of money?

Oh right, I forgot about that. That baby was so fake it's not even funny.

Michael K wrote a hilarious article about the fake baby. linkI wonder if diminished sight might be an issue here? That Clint thought the baby looked real enough? I thought the makeup and the CGI buildings in J. Edgar looked awful, so I just wonder if there is a pattern here.

Could be. He is 84 after all, and I could definitely see him as being the type of stubborn old coot who refuses to wear glasses even though he really needs them.
