Yeah, this was a slow moving 25 minutes of TV. With this and The Walking Dead, television also seems as pessimistic as humanity's future as the Real World does right now.

Exactly.
TLMOE needs to have them get off their butts and do something. Whether it's farming, looking for other survivors or trying to rebuilt technology, the show needs forward movement. I'm giving it one more shot for something to happen, then I'm out.

Maybe that's the point? That these dimwits are stagnating in their own stupidity until Phil's brother comes along? Because he will find them or else what's the point of the character? And surely they won't kill him off, although given the flashbacks about their childhood, maybe Phil and Mike are both going to revertbto being childish idiots when they're together.
