Is anyone else watching this show? It's on Sunday, 9:00 p.m. on FOX. It's about a post-apocalyptic world where most of the human race is killed off and one man survives alone (for a while).
I found it surprisingly enjoyable.

I've been watching it, but haven't seen last night's eps yet. There's some discussion in the "What Are You Watching?" thread.
I thought it was clever and different, although Phil is not actually the last man on earth. But it's a goofy sitcom, so whatever. I thought Kristen Schaal would be too much as a main character - I found her short segments on The Daily Show to be just okay most of the time - but she really works here. And I like that the women are friends.

A lot of the imdb posters are whining that Carol's a nag, but that's where the humor comes from.
I love his dinosaur skull conversation piece.

Thoughts on the season finale?
Should have know New Phil was too perfect, although Original Phil would be exhausting to be around and it would be tempting to abandon him in the desert. However, as Carol said, she wanted a guy who wouldn't be able to go,through with it.
(Although, I confess I'd still choose New Phil over Original Phil if supply was limited, just saying)
I wonder if the next season will just be about Phil and Carol again, starting over in another state.

It's the only comedy I'm currently following, and I found it be very funny, but also very human. I've seen a lot of nitpicking about what they should be doing to rebuild humanity, and it is certainly far from realistic. But I've enjoyed it. I look forward to Season 2.
And Will Forte just got a Critic's Choice nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy. So good for him.

New Phil is beautiful, but that was a harsh thing he did. However, why did none of the others make more of an effort to stop him?
Tandy going back to the toilet paper corn dog after the raisin ball made the whole episode for me. (It also made me consider stashing some snacks in the bathroom just in case)

Well I can't blame Todd for not wanting the guy who almost stranded him in the desert around, and Melissa hates Tandy anyway, while Erica and Gayle liked new Phil better, so it seems logical.
I wonder if Spaceman Miller is passing the time watching bad movies with a couple of 'bots?

I definitely find this more palatable with Phil #2.
