Just watched this on HULU, one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I read the play in high school and we watched the movie, great riff on it by everyone.

Amy's Bill Cosby trial in the court of public opinion was also pretty funny this week. High lights for me were the overhand toss of a pudding pop to the judge, the complimentary Cosby sweaters given to the jury, and Amy doing that trademark Cosby dance to the theme music.

Having had a screaming match with my sister last November about this scandal (she believes the accusers are all lying gold-diggers), I could really relate to this sketch. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but if you still think this is all a set up or a money-grab, I am secretly judging you. Do you also believe the earth is flat and 4,000 years old?

Amy photobombs a couple's engagement photo.

One engaged New York City couple just got an awesome early wedding present.

Joseph Turnage and Brandon Moore were taking their engagement photos in Central Park recently when their shoot was photobombed by none other than comedian Amy Schumer.

Photographer Alisha Siegel told People magazine that she heard a woman scream, "Oh my god! Are you taking engagement photos? Let me get in one!" That woman turned out to be Schumer.

"I thought it was a little weird, but I said yes anyways," Siegel told People. "She took off her sunglasses, we snapped a quick pic, and right after, she says, 'You guys know I'm like reeeeeeal famous.' I take another look it hit me that it was Amy Schumer!"

Later the comedian shared the snap on her Instagram account, writing, "Beautiful engagement photo ruined by yours truly."

Amy has joined her cousin Sen. Chuck Schumer to call for tighter background checks on guns


Obviously the two ladies dying just because they went to see her movie hit close to home for her:

Amy Schumer's voice broke as she described the victims, a 33-year-old artist and a 21-year-old student.

"I was heartbroken when I heard about Columbine and Sandy Hook and Aurora and so many other names of places that are seared into our memories," she said, "and I was heartbroken again when I heard about Lafayette. And I still am."

The senator said the country cannot "just sit back and allow mass shootings to become commonplace in the United States."

"How many breaking news flashes will it take for Congress to act?" he said. "How many tears? How many lives lost?"

I read in another post that she knew that the mouth-breathers on the internet were going to come for her because she's a lady speaking her mind and she's speaking about guns, but she's prepared for it.
