I saw this on the weekend. I really enjoyed it, and I've never seen any of the other movies. It was really nice to see a movie with strong female characters.

I may actually go watch this one- I'm hearing a lot of good things about it from a feminist perspective.

This may be the best action film I've ever seen.

Best movie, really nice to have an action movie that is action. Dialogue is only when necessary, no silly romantic storylines. Just flat out fun mostly non CGI entertainment.

This may be the best action film I've ever seen. Easily one of the best action movies I've seen in 20 years.

The stunt work is spectacular, and it has that real world non CGI heaviness to it, from using practical special effects and not a computer.
It's slightly insane, and I couldn't understand the Australian accents that well, (not that it mattered in this film). I enjoyed it more than Avengers.

I can't wait to see this. All the rave reviews coming in have definitely made me more excited. At first I was wary since I never saw any of the previous incarnations. But...looking at the trailers, and bts features? Wow! I'm going to see this on the big screen Saturday. Forget Avengers, this looks like the summer blockbuster of 2015. Still can't really wrap my mind around the fact that the same director made Babe.

I like it more now, having seen it two days ago, than I did right when I walked out of the theater. I guess I appreciated it for what it was, but I am not normally action movie inclined and I felt very tense the whole time. I felt like it could have used about ten more minutes of plot at either end, but from reading here and elsewhere that just means I am not the target audience for this! But I did enjoy it nonetheless, especially the badass older women.

I haven't seen it yet but I love that it is the same director as the original films and he's 70 now!!
Charlize looks badass.
