I just saw the "mug shot." He actually looks really unwell. His colouring is bright read and one eye appears to be somewhat closed. I wonder what the charges are. I am extremely creeped out.

UGH. My heart goes out to all his victims. Mine does also. I am wondering what on earth his wife will do. If he is found guilty (and I am inclined to believe this is probable) will he be permitted round their children? I believe divorce is excedingly unusual in their community. Will she have support from anyone if she leaves? |

I'm trying to remember - when it was revealed that he had abused his sisters (and parents put more effort into protecting him and covering it up than they did helping his victims) - didn't the family frame things so that the sisters felt somehow to blame for his abusing them? And what a guy - likely financial/tax impropriety, adultery (remember the Ashley Madison thing?), history of abusing his siblings, and now child porn. The Duggars' worldview and philosophy really working fabulously in producing upstanding human beings.

What an absolute piece of shit, and I am not surprised. I said yesterday- you don’t get arrested by the feds and held with no bond for a minor issue. That entire family has aided and abetted this behavior by continually covering it up and not getting proper, real treatment for him.
I’m sure Jill is so relieved she got away from Jim Bob and whatever horrible crap he created in that family. I also hope Anna comes to her damn senses and gets out of there.

If you have someone at FOURTEEN who is sexually assaulting his SISTERS and ZERO is done about it and they just cover it up, there is no way that he isn't still doing the same in adulthood. When that shit goes unchecked, untreated, and unaccounted for -- you've released a massive predator to the public.
I hope he's in prison for the rest of his life.
