Y’all got me hooked on the Reddit group about them. There are no words for what he did, I hope he rots in hell. Some choice bits from the bond hearing:

When the cops showed up at the used car lot Josh said, “Is this about someone finding child pornography?” when literally not a word was said about what they were looking for.

He had some weird accountability software called Covenant Eyes installed on his computer that reported back to Anna. But he split his hard drive so it only reported on the “good” side of his computer.

Jim Bob asked a friend to house him. (I believe the bond hearing is to see whether he could live with them before and during the trial.) The fact that Jim Bob is doing anything at all for Josh is completely disgusting.

Another gem (from a Reddit poster who sat in on the Zoom hearing) was that when the judge asked if the wife of the couple who agreed to house Josh felt pressure to house him didn't clearly state "no" but said her husband made the decision and she was just there to support it.

ETA: And when the husband was asked, he was OK leaving his wife and adult daughter alone with him. Josh is also allowed to see his own children if his wife is present.

Ian Watkins (the lead singer of the Lost Prophets rock band) got 29 years over here (UK) for what sounds like similar age ranges. He pleaded guilty and tried to act remorseful - which I bet Josh won't. Since the US will sentence people to a thousand years (you guys really don't fuck around at times), I hope Josh ends up with a sentence that'll see him dying in prison.

Jessa gave birth to a baby girl on July 17. Fern Elliana is the 10th granddaughter in a row for JB & Meech. Altogether they have 21 grandkids.
