All I've got it the fact Sophia shares a semblance to a young Silvia.

Victoria's dress was H&M. For Madeleine's wedding, she wore a fantastic couture dress by Fadi El Khoury. I wonder if Victoria was just figured "Whatev, I'm not spending money on this event."

Silva wore a pantsuit to the pre-wedding dinner the night before that screamed...whatevs too.

I didn't care for the colors of her dress, but I thought Princess Takamado looked stunning. The cut of the dress suited her so well, and she looked elegant, natural, comfortable, and friendly. Princess Mary's dress, cut and color, was gorgeous, and I liked Maxima's, too.
The design of Sofia's dress, especially that wide v-neck, was lovely, but I thought the lace looked kind of cheap.

It definitely looked cheap, and the whiteness of it was kind of off-putting. It looked like a borrowed dress used for local theatrical productions. It said, I Am A Wedding Dress, and that's kind of it. I thought the lace was placed strangely, too. I missed Princess Takamodo before, but I just looked her up--fabulous ensemble! Who is the tween in the bridal party? She looks miserable (and oddly proportioned, but maybe it's the little girl clothing on a young woman's body)

Silva wore a pantsuit to the pre-wedding dinner the night before that screamed...whatevs too. Ha, one of the aunts, Princess Birgitta, wore a jumpsuit to the wedding. An actual jumpsuit. It's like a sartorial protest from the entire family. On the other hand, the King and Queen did give Sofia a new tiara, which is an awfully nice gift. Although maybe it was a "our royal heirlooms are not touching her head" type of gift. I'm totally making up drama over here, but if you can't make up drama about a foreign royal family, who can you make up drama about?

I can't put my finger on it but she reminds me of some actress in her youth... Geraldine Chaplin?
I'm surprised no Monaco royals attended.

It just hit me: Carl Philip looks like Captain Obvious from the Hotels.com commercials.

The bride looked a bit like Eva Green, but not as pretty.

I know they're a bit trashy, but they really, really looked like they are in love. More so than any other royal wedding I've seen recently.
