I'm watching for Simon and the twins... though I am intrigued that Caleb's dad is the head of the FBI. I guess no one knew that when he was training as an analyst. IIRC, in the pilot Caleb said that both his parents were agents, although the pilot didn't indicate how high up the father was. The most recent episode also implied his mother was an elected official (reference to being "in office"). Not sure if that means the mother was ever an agent, or the show is doing a post-pilot retcon and the mother was never in the FBI. ETA: Caleb is my least favorite character. I don't care that his constant put-downs of everyone else are a front to hide his feelings of inadequacy compared to his parents. He is a jerk. |

I'm so pissed the twins are now the ones everyone (Alex et al)is after. I'm sure it's a red herring but it's so cliche. Apparently ABC didn't expect this to be a hit, so the show's doing some 'course correcting'.... I don't know if I'm going to make it to the end of the year.
And what the hell was up with Miranda having everyone watch her and learn her son was in jail for trying to gun down a school? SMH indeed.

My latest guess is that its going to be Caleb's Mom who is at least one of the parties behind this. Some how supposed to help her political career. Especially considering the actress who is going to play her. I'm going to be annoyed if none of the recruits are involved since that was the original premise of the show. The show reminds me a little of what happened with Revenge. Another show that really should have only gone one season, became really popular and then had to change its game plan and became more convoluted in the process. But Quantico has become a mess even sooner. Its only seven episodes in! |

You could be right Bronze, but before the show went to series, the showrunners named the guilty party (a recruit), so unless they decided to go in a different direction (which is entirely possible), I'd say the new actress is not the culprit. I will be pissed if this plays out like a blind item, and it's a recruit that we haven't spent any time with thus far.....
TPTB already changed the entire character of Liam, so you never know. (He was supposed to be a broken down alcoholic just barely holding onto to his position).
Going by IMDb, Liam, Miranda, Alex, Ryan, Shelby, the twins, Simon and Caleb have been in every episode. Natalie & Elias have been in 2/3's of the episodes. It technically should be one of those characters. Every other actor listed in the show is only in for 3-4 episodes max, and that's not a lot when you have 18 episodes.....

Yeah I feel like if it is not one of those characters it is going to be a bit of a cop out. Like if it turns out to be Brandon, the stud who all the girls think is hot yet didn't show up until 2 episodes ago I'm going to be annoyed. On the other hand almost all those characters are helping Alex now. If it is one of them it feels like it would be a total blindside. I like shows to have twists but also the mystery should be somewhat guessable. I don't know if Quantico is capable of pulling that off. |

It really is absolutely ridiculous and makes no sense, but I can't help enjoying it. I guess I look forward to each week's silliness. What completely unbelievable thing will they do this week?!

Yeah total cop out. The promos said they'd reveal the terrorists this episode. But Elias was just a pawn and he died before he could reveal anything. And the end with Caleb is probably just another red herring. The creator admitted as much in an interview. I can't believe they are going to drag this on for a whole season. They should've had a definitive end to this and started a new mystery after the break.
Priyanka is very pretty but her breathless delivery of every single line drives me nuts.
