Its kind of ridiculous but its my favorite new drama this fall so far. After 2 episodes I have so many questions. Like why is Simon pretending to need glasses? And also probably pretending to be gay? Why does the FBI want twins to pretend to be one person? Does new girl have a fake scar behind her ear? Why couldn't they have killed off Caleb instead of the Mormon guy?
I appreciate not only that the show is diverse but that in a show about terrorism the least likely suspects are the lead and the Muslim twins.

I think I'll like it, but I just tried to watch the first 2 episodes. This is one of those shows that I have to sit still and pay complete attention to. I'm very confused due to missing bits and pieces from not giving my full attention. I did think that the blonde girl looked much taller on UnReal. Funny how they can do that.

So - I got lost when Alex has an apartment in the city. I thought they lived in the dorm? Or does she just brush her teeth there? I want to like this - it looks like fun, but I may need to top up my suspension of disbelief to really enjoy it.
ETA - Thank you, Martini Girl. Makes sense now.

She moved to NY after finishing her training at Quantico. The terrorist attack happens 9 months after they live in the dorm.....

The show is definitely withholding a lot of information at this point so I doubt you really missed that much. I agree as well that this is going to be a show where I'll be suspending a lot of disbelief. Didn't even think about why she has an apartment in the city. Before the dorm I think she was living with her Mom in a house. I couldn't get over why she let the waitress watch the surveillance video with her. I liked blonde girl from UnReal so glad to see her on the show. Same with Eddie from The Flash. (new gay analyst) Eta: Ah ok that makes sense regarding the apartment.

By watching this show, I have learned that FBI job requirements include:
1. Looking like a model. 2. Spending all of your training time at the academy trash-talking and playing mind games with your colleagues. What is this, high school?

Which surprises me- when do they switch the women to mannish suits and sensible shoes? Aren't they supposed to be learning about laws and stuff? And yet I watch.

What kills me is the heavy makeup all the girls wear, even in the pool.
The creator of this show also produced Smash and Gossip Girl. That explains so much. I'm still enjoying the show even though it is increasingly dumb. But I seriously doubt the pieces are going to all fit together in a satisfying way. It is great to see a show with an Indian female lead be successful. Although truthfully I'd rather watch a show about the twins.

I'm watching for Simon and the twins... though I am intrigued that Caleb's dad is the head of the FBI. I guess no one knew that when he was training as an analyst.
