So much cheese in yesterday's episode. I almost LOLed several times at the cornball dialogue during Shelby and Caleb's breakup, Elias' last words, Booth's ex-wife's dressing down of Alex, and all the "topical" references (Ben Carson! Uber! Game of Thrones!). Also, why does Shelby have multiple formal gowns in her dorm room closet? OTOH, the earrings Marcia Cross wore at the holiday party were beautiful. It's so entertainingly nutty, I'll stick around when it's back next year.

she's a horrible actress, but TPTB at ABC love her. Go figure. I've come to the conclusion that's why I don't like this show. It's her. I don't know what it is that makes her unwatchable. She is very pretty and maybe in a different role, she would be better, but she is so not a fit for this. That said - I'm invested so I'll continue watching. |

The former head of casting thought (thinks) she'll be the next big thing. I can't see it myself. PC had dibs on all the pilots, but apparently no one really wanted her (I don't know why). She finally landed on Quantico, and they rewrote the pilot for her. (Alex was originally a man). From there, it seems like showrunners have done everything in their power to prop her up- even when it doesn't make sense.
From stories I heard, PC was a nightmare to deal with. I think that's part of the reason I can't stand her. But the perfect hair/makeup and breathy delivery definitely did not help.
I'm still interested in Simon and the twins, but I can read the recaps to get my fix.

I watched the ep on Sunday and could barely make it through the Simon/Alex scenes. She's just so bad and I legit laughed at Simon's crazed ramblings. I was never so happy to find Elementary had moved to Sundays at 10 so I don't have to hate watch this anymore.

I started watching the first episode of this season and 10 minutes later realized I could give a shit about any of these characters and that was the end of that. I always have this misplaced sense of pride when I finally stop watching a show. I am a strong woman! I don't need you anymore, you stupid loser show!

I quit watching too! I grew to hate the alternating timelines. It got too confusing. I feel like that device should only be used in small doses. Plus I know they aren't going to answer any questions until the finale. I'll tune in then although even then I'm dubious they'll resolve anything. I can see them pulling some nonsense like The Killing's season one finale. I still think Quantico has the elements of a fun soapy show like Revenge. But it needs a hard reboot. And get rid of Alex. (I know they'll never do that)
