To add to what Ginger says; I also tend to find it even more curious when couples who have been together for SO long split.

eta: and now I see they have been "secretly" separated for 6 years. Seriously- are they trolling Will & Jada??

(I kid- kinda- Meryl and her husband were never super public and they didn't air their relationship issues through the media ad nauseam)

I always thought it was interesting that she got together with and married him so quickly after her longtime love, John Cazale, died. Obviously they were married a long time, so it was a ~rebound that stuck. Maybe with the kids grown they just looked at each other and were like...'meh?'

Their kids have been grown for like 20 years though! Their youngest child is in her mid 30's.

Jada must have a really expensive PR person because I am running into appearances/interviews with her EVERYWHERE. And at this stage of the game, I have zero interest in anything she has to say. In a way she gives off the same vibe Gwyneth Paltrow does--kind of a super-aggressive disingenuousness.

Someone tweeted, who do I have to pay to not hear about Jada anymore? My sentiments as well. At this point, I’m actively avoiding anything about her.

I know! The long-time couple that I want to divorce after six years of separation hasn't! I'm sad for Meryl and Don, but if things aren't working, then it's better to walk away and I expect this to be amicable.

I cannot link, but Kathy Griffin has filed for divorce from her husband. I have read a couple of her books, and she has had it kind of rough. I feel for her.

I know the photo in the article is at least three years old, but she looks so frail and aged in it, like she's really sick or something. Of course that could be the strain of a fading marriage.
