I just binged the first season. Overall thoughts: I really liked it. But I have questions.
My questions center on Maeve. How the hell was she allowed to run around the facility naked without security knowing about it? How did Felix's credentials not get 'buzzed' or triggered when he kept changing her profile?
I actually really liked the series, and found the premise intriguing. But the Maeve storyline had me scratching my head almost every episode.

But how did the humans working at the facility not know she was 'running free'? I think that's a plot hole that you can't just chalk up to Ford disabling all the triggers..... (though it helps explain Felix).

I binge watched the series, and was deeply disappointed. I found Delores annoying and boring. I would have rather have followed Teddy. I only cared about Maeve, and I was disappointed that she went back for the kid. I know, I know it's her arc that's she's becoming more human. I would have preferred seeing her integrating into the real world. The Arnold stuff has pretty out there (wouldn't people have recognized Bernard as Arnold?). It just became too repetitive for me at some point. And I hated The Man in Black. And there were so many plot holes. So, so many plot holes.

The Superbowl ad -- I can't wait for the show to come back!!! Also loved the piano version of a Kanye song.

I wasn't blown away by the first season, but the trailer for season two has me hyped! It looks like a lot of people survived the purged, and the past and the present still seem to be colliding (with regard to Delores and William). I can't wait to see where this goes.

I'm only at Espisode 4 of the first season, and I'm intrigued in the concept, but the execution is soooo slow and talky. I think I'll keep trying...?

I'm only at Espisode 4 of the first season, and I'm intrigued in the concept, but the execution is soooo slow and talky. I think I'll keep trying...? It is talky and slow, but so, so gorgeous. I re-watched the series in preparation of S2, and I think if you zoom thru the Ford and Dolores stuff, and focus on Bernard and Maeve, the story improves tremendously. Not that there aren't issues with them as well. And I tuned out all the corporate espionage stuff. The premiere was intense, enthralling and gorgeous. I could just look at the pretty and not give a toss about the characters actions or motivations. I know it's ridiculous, and illogical, and doomed for destruction, but I love Maeve/Hector. So much hotness. Guh. Thandie is killing this role. As is Jeffrey Wright. I found myself holding my breath without realizing it multiple times during his scenes in the premiere. I can't wait for the gaps to get filled in.

Maeve and Bernard are my favorites. I'm glad they seemed to have learned from Season 1 and moved away from the tedious, repetitive establishment of host loops and one-on-ones with Dolores. That was the WORST.
Even though it appears they're still using non-linear storytelling, at least the story is moving along and we're seeing a variety of characters.

Jeffrey Wright is great on this show. His character is my favorite to watch.
Between the twisty plot and the non-linear story, I only understand about 80% of what's happening at any given moment, LOL. But it was still a good premiere and I understand enough of the basic plot points and relationships between the characters to get into it. Ed Harris's character is the least interesting to me.
