Yeah, I'm not into this show as much as I used to be. That happens, though. I get bored with things too easily. It's become tiresome, not compelling/riveting. I just don't care.

I haven't watched the last two weeks. I may catch up with it, I may not. I'm kind of "meh" on it at the moment.

This season is far and above better than last season. Each episode has gotten progressively better IMO. I don't care a whit about the underlying story abut hosts becoming conscious/immortality in humans/what is life. The show is a beautiful mess to watch. The episode last night was absolutely gorgeous. The Native American actor knocked it out of the park, as well as the cinematographer.

Ok, I have to eat my words. That last episode was beautiful. Best episode I've seen so far!

To me this show is perfect for binge watching (no waiting for clues to drip out each week) but I don't have the patience to wait until the season ends.
The last show demonstrates how much easier it is to connect emotionally when they use a more linear format. I hope they pay attention to the praise they are getting, I can't imagine what lengths they'll go to in future seasons to keep up the obfuscation and outwit reddit.
But I read they already outlined several seasons so I doubt they'll simplify, given how much effort that probably took.
I still like the show but I often wonder how much more enjoyable it would be if I didn't have to think to myself "did this happen before these two events and after those three events? and is this person the same one from that other time frame or someone else entirely?"

This most recent episode was head and shoulders above the rest of the season, and it is definitely because 1) minimal double or triple jumping back and forth 2) that actor is amazing and 3) none of Dolores’ or (though it kills me to say it) Bernard’s storylines—the actor playing Bernard is great but that arc has been going nowhere very slowly. I actually think that this season has been so meandering and pointless that I would be happy to see them just abandon a lot of it and go in a new direction next season but I agree that is very unlikely. I will give them credit, though, if this last episode hadn’t been great I was about ready to give up on it but they knew exactly when and how to reel me back in!

I loved this episode, the best of all so far. It was beautiful and emotional. The actor Zahn McClarnon deserves all the acclaim he's getting. There's a clip on Westworld's twitter that describes Akecheta as "He's always been a little curious, and in his wanderings, he's come to understand this world is not real." I love how they show it as genuine Native Americans discovered their world, by wandering and looking and thinking about how things work. Have to say yes about the jumping back and forth. I can follow it if I watch an episode again, but I don't understand the reason they're doing it, and it's freaking me out.
