I forking LOVE The Good Place! AHHHHHH!!!!
I was trying to figure out how they were going to revamp the show for the 3rd season and it never dawned on me to bring them back to life! Now it's a "will they or won't they?" be good considering they don't realize there isn't anything in it for them.
Honestly, great job writers!
ETA: I loved the bar moment. Sam Malone! Even the rag over the shoulder, checkered shirt. I mean, come on! That's forking Sam Malone!!!

I was looking to see if he was wearing a name tag, too. I wonder if there were any other Cheers references inside Sting's Desert Rose Bar.
If we get to see Tahani's side, will we finally see some of her good friend / name dropped famous people? Maggie Smith is her Godmother, after all!

This show blows my mind. Mike Schur could make a half hour tv show that’s just a video of a potato sitting on a table and I would watch it.

I mean, the twists on this show are nothing short of brilliant. And TD behind the bar? *Kisses fingers* perfection.
I loved the "did you get hacked?" response on Eleanor's FB posting about wanting to be a better person.

I never thought of the possibility they’d be sent back to earth. I hope they don’t keep them apart for too long though. I love them all working together. And yeah, Ted Danson behind the bar again was perfection.
Maybe they can work the Jaguars almost making it to the Super Bowl into Jason’s story 😊
ETA: I assumed they were brought back to their lives but I’ve heard other people suggest it’s another simulation?

I was wondering about that too, in the very beginning he said he spoke French and not English. And I don't recall anything about him living in Australia. I might've just forgotten though. I am continually amazed by how they keep rebooting the premise of this show. In less creative hands, it would've gotten stale by now. Bravo Michael Schur and company! |

How do you think Michael saves Jason? Chidi and Tahani’s deaths can easily be altered, but Jason’s is a little bit more diffiicult. Does Michael prevent him from ever meeting Pillboi? Maybe Blake Bortles and the Jaguars actually make the Super Bowl in Jason’s second life?

I’m not sure if Chidi didn’t speak English at all or if he just wasn’t (though he had no accent. But maybe the show just thought it would be weird if he suddenly spoke with one).
As for him being in Australia, that’s easier to explain - about a year had passed since they all returned to life when Eleanor went to see him. So I could see him making different choices in his life after his return (like Eleanor) and that lead to a teaching position in Australia.
