Just wanted to echo those who lament the loss of the IMDB boards. It was always so useful for answering questions to films that the zeitgeist has already moved on from discussing at the water cooler. And like highondegrassi said upthread, it was pretty easy to weed out the gross/troll threads.
That, plus, you'd be amazed at how many times I got the answer to a "Whatever happened to...?" question about some obscure actor just by browsing the message board section of their IMDB page. (I mean, haven't we all kind of wondered whatever happened to the cast of Saved By The Bell: The New Class? Just me? RIP IMDB boards.)

Not just you. I used to do a Whatever Happened to Baby Jane style search all the time after watching shows such as Land of The Giants.
