Northern Ireland on verge of new world record – for no governmentThey should be ashamed of themselves and get their acts together and get back to just looking after the people of NI and the everyday governing of things, not even thinking of Brxshit and the potential border issues just look after the needs of your citizens. Simplistic of me I know. When you think of the years of work, negotiating and compromises made by those who we never thought would agree but eventually did to get there, it truly is shameful. This is inventive way to protest Brxshit! Man and van and GPS makes Stop Brexit protest

Damn. They're going to overtake Belgium? Um, not exactly a world record that you want.

Those pesky Irish and their wish to keep peace disrupting our Brexit plans and my reputation..why cant they be quiet!!The British government asked Ireland to ease off on its emphasis on peace in Northern Ireland as one of the main issues at stakes in the Brexit talks. How dare we be concerned for our country and the hard fought for peace in the north? Who gave us the right to be so uppity!! Its like they forget ROI is independent of them...grrrr! I really think if it was possible to untether our awkward little island and let us float off out of the way, May and the Tories would let it. I'd be in favour of floating North, towards Iceland.... Scotland might like to float away too..

I gather May's visit with Sturgeon is feeding the Scottish Independence talk again. Rightly so. A lot of Scottish people voted to remain because Brexit wasn't supposed to happen. Now all bets are off. Originally I leaned toward Scotland remaining, but now I understand them wanting to go independent and try to stick with the EU.

Every chance Australia could have a new Prime Minister by the end of the day - the current one (Turnbull) survived the night, but the party is currently spilt down the middle on whether to replace him. The party is awful, but Turnbull is only mostly awful, and the guy who wants the job may or may not be legally able to have the job. Fun times

John Howard, Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard, Kevin Rudd, Tony Abbott, Malcolm Turnbull...
I try to keep up with world leaders but Oz has really been keeping me on my toes.

Well here in Ontario our Trump wannabee Premiere is rolling back the sexual education curriculum in school by 2 decades. You know before cyber bullying, transgender issues, same sex marriage. He’s setting up a “snitch” line so teachers can turn in their co-workers if they refuse to teach the outdated sex Ed.....

Fun times I have had the week off work and have been following this whole dumpster fire on TV and social media. It's absolutely and completely insane and I have spent the last couple of days not knowing whether to cry or laugh hysterically. At least the Liberal (ie the conservative flat-earth) Party have completely blown the next election.

New PM for Australia! In the choice between duller status quo, status quo in a dress, and "who taught the piece of excrement how to speak?", they went with duller status quo, Scott Morrison. Not much will change policy-wise (and they're still an awful party) but hopefully they'll be voted out next election.
