Not a lawyer, but my understanding is that it is indeed illegal under federal law to give minors (which in this case means under 16)pornography. I just remembered that Adam McIntyre (who is AWESOME and I’ve been subscribed to him on YouTube) is an Irish national, so how would the law apply? I believe that it would apply because she was a US citizen in the US sending porn to minors. Where they are located shouldn't make a difference, and in any case Adam was still underage in Ireland as well at that point so they might also be able to press charges there. (Not a lawyer, this is my googling grasp of the situation)

The Colleen Ballinger accusations sound a lot like what happened with Broadway star Alice Ripley. In 2021, she was accused of having inappropriate emotional relationships with teens, with the interactions occurring primarily in the 2010s. Ballinger's ukelele song was uploaded to Apple Music and is available for purchase. Presumably this is so she can invoke copyright strikes against anyone else who incorporates it into their own YouTube video to criticize it. How did I never hear this mess about Alice Ripley?? Wow Colleen Ballinger: I had barely heard of her or Miranda Sings prior to a few weeks ago, cuz I'm an old, and I guess they heyday of that character was awhile ago, before my kids were mucking around on youtube. But yowza, how the hell was any of that entertainment? My 14-year-old and I have had many a good laugh over the Toxic Gossip Train, tho

So Miranda Lambert stopped a song at her concert to call out two fans who were taking a selfie:
"Miranda Lambert was starting a song when she suddenly stopped and said: "I'm gonna stop right here for a sec." She continued, "These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song, it’s pissing me off a little bit. Sorry, I don’t like it at all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music."
Fuck off Miranda. Don't shit on people's joy. Everyone has a phone in their hand at concerts these days. Let people enjoy things as they see fit to enjoy it. I doubt either of them are fans after this bitchy comment. I would've walked out after this.

If they were talking loudly or trying to get on the stage, I would understand the outburst. This just makes her look like a prima donna who doesn’t like when people are on their phones! Is she a boomer who’ll talk about “the millennials do be taking selfies all the time” BS?

It's not Hollywood, but British TV is going nuts lately with 2 TV presenters causing shockwaves. Phillip Schofield worked for ITV as a breakfast TV presenter. He was really popular with a wholesome family image - wife, kid(s), totally faithful, etc. He's 61 and he's been a presenter for 40 years. Then it came out that he had an affair with a 20 year old guy who was working for the same show and who was moved to a different department after they broke up. Added to that, Phillip knew the guy from when he was 15 (Phillip would have been 56), and his main defensive quote was about their relationship being "unwise but not illegal". Ick. End result is that he lost his job and his agent dropped him. Huw Edwards is 62, (married, kids, wholesome image), worked for the BBC, and was the main BBC newscaster on the day Queen Elizabeth II died. Now he's accused of soliciting nudes from 2 (?) 17/18 year olds, and maybe paying one money. The age of consent here is 16, so it wouldn't count as illegal, but definitely skeevy. Both of them come off as sleazy.

When your best defense is, "Well, it wasn't actually illegal," you should probably rethink your actions and also your life.

Gawd, she is the most entitled snot in country music, and that's saying something. "How dare you not pay constant attention to me while I'm on stage singing for you!" Fuck off is right. I cannot stand Miranda. Huw Edwards is 62, (married, kids, wholesome image), worked for the BBC, and was the main BBC newscaster on the day Queen Elizabeth II died. Both of them come off as sleazy. This gutted me. I came to really admire Huw during the coverage of the Queen's funeral. It's incredibly disappointing.

Ladybug, you just reminded me of one of the best moments I’ve ever seen at a concert! Unfortunately, I’m not able to link videos from my phone, It was a Faith Hill/Tim McGraw tour. A woman got close enough to the stage while McGraw was performing and grabbed his crotch! Hill went OFF on this woman, screamed (over the band who’s still playing!) “You don’t go grabbin’ somebody else …somebody husband’s BAWLS, you understand me!!” Seriously, I don’t get people who feel like they need to be on the stage, you’re supposed to be there to watch the people ON the stage, especially touching the performers in ANY way!
ETA: Thank you, Auroranorth!

Good for Faith! The woman should have been done for sexual assault.
