I'm convinced Diddy made a deal with the feds. I'm interested to see how this all plays out. I'm confused. What kind of deal would he have to make? Isn't he the top of the food chain?

Youngboy is going to be sitting in jail for a while. The Supreme court is ruling on a guns case, and his lawyers wanted his trial delayed till their ruling came out. The trial was originally going to be in July, the court would finish ruling in June but it takes a while for the decision to come down after that. If he'd just applied a modicum of common sense, he wouldn't be facing more charges and he might have gotten off on the ones he has. It's not like he was in solitary, the judge had let him go live in Utah where he had horses and all sorts of stuff.

I cannot link because I am on my mobile, but Harvey W's conviction has been overturned by a New York Court.

I'm very sorry for his victims, especially as it seems the likely result of this will be that they go through a re-trial.
The good news is, he is not getting out of prison. He was convicted in California on separate charges and will still serve 16 years there. And of course, he could be convicted again in New York.
I was surprised, at the time, that his NY trial involved testimony from victims who were not party to the case. I always thought such testimony is prejudicial and not allowed. That seems to be the conclusion of the Appeals court.
I wish, as I did with the Bill Cosby case, that it was done right the first time and not left so open to being overturned. Cosby's conviction was the result of a legitimate 5th Amendment violation. I do believe that it's more important to adhere to the law than it is to get a guilty person in prison by violating their right to a fair trial.
ETA: The Appeals court judge called the Weinstein trial errors "egregious".
