There wasn't a report filed, so there wasn't anything to give. My guess is that they weren't even fully aware until after the fact.

Due to statue of limitations, there isn't anything that can be filed now. Back then, you had 3 years for a domestic assault -- now it's 5 years. Regardless, it was longer than both time frames, so he won't be tried for this accept in the court of public opinion. This dude is dunzo.

I read an article that quoted from the lawsuit. It said that Cassie did get away and go home, but then once she was home she started to think that Diddy would be even angrier with her, so she returned to the hotel.

The 2023 complaint said Ventura, “stuck in this vicious cycle of abuse,” took a cab to her apartment after the attack but returned to the hotel seeking to apologize for running away from Combs. The hotel’s security staff encouraged her to go back home, the lawsuit said, informing her they had seen video of “Mr. Combs beating [her] and throwing glass at her in the hotel hallway.”

But then Diddy paid someone $50K and the video disappeared, except someone must have kept a copy.

Well, that explains a lot. Money makes it all go away. Bottom line, Cassie had to file a report in order for anything to move forward. They encouraged her to go home, but didn't really do more to help her. That's really messed up.

Though Cohn molds him from a nobody into a mogul, Trump does not show loyalty to his mentor when he is dying of AIDS. The notorious germaphobe had his house fumigated by staff after Cohn leaves in one scene.

The movie is still described as "an oddly humanizing portrait", so that could be where controversy could lie.

Actor Nick Pasqual, who allegedly stabbed makeup artist, charged with attempted murder.

Pasqual, 34, has been charged with one count of attempted murder; one count of first-degree residential burglary with person present; and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or child's parent, the DA's office reported. Sean Combs Arrested in Manhattan After Grand Jury Indictment

Sean Combs, the music mogul whose career has been upended by sexual assault lawsuits and a federal investigation, was arrested in Manhattan on Monday evening, after a grand jury indicted him, according to a person familiar with the indictment who was not authorized to speak publicly.

The charges in the indictment were not immediately clear.

A statement from Mr. Combs’s legal team said they were disappointed with the decision to prosecute him and noted that he had been cooperative with the investigation and had “voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges.”
