A trailer for season 2 which premieres next Friday, yay! Looks as crazy as usual, despite no Alexis, Steven or Sammy Jo in the trailer. Can't wait! |

Here's a longer trailer from Rafael's Instagram. This one has Steven, Sam, and Alexis in it. - I don't know what has put Alexis in that condition but I think it's a safe bet that she's faking it. - I can't wait to see more Kirby - and the new Cristal who isn't in any of the trailers so far. - #BlakeTime! Haha! - I've had the entire summer to think about it and I still can't decide if I want to see Fallon with Culhane or Liam. They are both so hot. Liz Gillies is living a good life. There's also this short preview clip that I watched about 10 times because it made me laugh so hard and I really needed it today. BTW - if you haven't voted for Dynasty in the People's Choice Awards the link for that is here. They made it to the second round for Best Revival! Yay!

OMG loved the first episode, really nice set up for the season. Not sure about the Van Kirks (bc I want Fallon and Culhane to be happy, dammit) and Kirby, but the moment she met Jeff made me excited for what's to come.
And the humor on this show is something else, keep it coming, Dynasty!
ETA: is Kelly Rutherford a regular now? Because....no.

No, Kelly Rutherford is only going to be around for a few episodes. I don't know what that means for the storyline but thankfully she's not a regular. I'm pretty sure Melissa is either lying about being pregnant or lying about who the father is. (Not a spoiler, just a hunch).
I'm intrigued about Kirby & Jeff's relationship. I know they were in love on the old series but I don't know if they'll go that route this time because the actress is so much younger than him (she turned 21 right before shooting started). It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
I think Grant Show was the MVP of the episode. His scenes with Sam and his speech during the party were so great. When he came home and everyone was arguing and he just turned around and walked back out - LOL. I can't believe I watched Grant on 5 seasons of Melrose Place and never knew how entertaining he could be. The aftermath of Blexis having sex is sure to be hilarious.

Why did the first Cristal leave? Did she walk away or was she fired? I'm pretty sure she was fired. They said they started planning her exit about halfway through Season 1. But it doesn't sound like she was too broken up about it - "I get my life back" isn't something a person says when they're crushed about losing a job. I followed Nathalie on Instagram for a short time this summer and it was ummm...interesting. She likes posting pictures of herself naked and she's big on psychedelic drugs and Burning Man. When she started posting pics of herself and friends naked at an Esalen retreat I decided I'd seen enough. Apparently they took some mindbending substances and rolled around naked in the mud for a few days. I had to either unfollow or risk injury from all the eye rolling I was doing. (No offense and God bless if that's what you're into. It's not for me). |
