After a Long Fight, Taiwan’s Same-Sex Couples Celebrate New Marriages “I’m so moved by the love stories that people have been sharing on the internet,” she said. “Many LGBT people in Taiwan have said that even though they don’t have plans to marry, they now feel accepted by their country.” This reminds me so much of the stories told and this sentiment too on this island just 4 years ago(how is it 4 years already)

This video of the Spiderman cast visiting the Children's Hospital is very sweet, I love the opening where they're chasing Mysterio.

The kids realy are alright.... High school students offer a silent ovation while a classmate with autism receives his diplomaFrom the article The students were amazing," Riolo said. "They are a class act and superseded expectations. For example them rising to their feet after Jack received his diploma was them. It was not preplanned and no one told them to act like that that. They felt compelled to show their support in that way. They made that amazing compassionate gesture on their own.

As the mother of a student who absolutely could not handle sudden loud noises, this got me right in the feels. She's so much more tolerant now, largely because she, too, is surrounded by classmates who get her and know how to make everyone feel included and safe. I wish every kid could be so lucky.
