I'm finally caught up on Miracle Workers on TBS.
I'm liking it more than I thought I would. It's hilarious to think that heaven is just composed of a bunch of departments like "Answering Prayers" or the "Genitals" department. God is petty and an idiot in this, he doesn't even know how to use the microwave. Previews also show that God has a family and he's basically the disappointment in the family.
I can't wait to see how they wrap this series up.

Derry Girls is back and Call the Midwife is over and my next sentence is one my educated by nuns younger self would be horrified to hear. I like telly nuns! Sister Michael (Derry Girls) and Sister Monica Joan(CtM) are my favorites.
Both shows very different but very brilliant.

I’m about 2/3rds thru Umbrella Academy and I’m liking it much more than I thought I would. I am not a superhero fan and only gave this a chance because I was just looking for something mindless and Netflix has been promoting the hell out of it so I thought “Why the hell not?” It’s has a good balance of dark, moody and action coupled with humorous, creepy and offbeat. It’s not weighed down by oohing and aahing over the spectacular things the main characters can do but tends to focus more on the siblings’ relationships and a family trying to heal itself. And those scenes are mixed with the occasional scene of trying to save the world.

I'm loving the Umbrella Academy too. Currently on episode 5. There's enough mystery throughout the show and the dark humor carries the show through when I start to lose interest.
Also, the casting is awesome! Mary J Blige and the guy who plays Hazel have great chemistry for a partnership. The cherry on top is Kate Walsh.
ETA: and I am all in on finding out what happened to Ben. I do wonder if he really is dead. Also, I love their music selection.

I'm enjoying Workin' Moms, even though I'm way beyond the demographic. It's like a series version of Bad Moms, which I also love.

They are not paying me by mention I swear but Derry Girls was genius again tonight all I’ll say is Dead Poets Society, The Usual Suspects and (for lapsed Catholics amongst us) The Child of Prague!
Oh and every Derry Girl has their own Spotify playlist, me I’m in an Orla McCool music headspace all night tonight. If into a listen search Derry Girls Erin, Derry Girls Orla, Clare, Michelle etc...

THE GOOD FIGHT season 3. This show is awesome.
Episode one was all about NDA agreements and powerful men using women as they please. What do you do when a powerful man, who did a lot of really amazing things for civil rights and pushing this country forward on so many levels, also happened to treat women in his immediate orbit like shit? What do you do when your whole identity is based on this man's legacy, and stories from the past threaten your future?
There's also a subplot of Don Jr. and Eric going hunting with Kurt, and shooting him, and forcing him to sign an NDA.
Finally, Diane is trying to get a woman who had an abortion after Trump impregnated her to fight her Trump NDA so the firm can help bring down the President.
There were a lot of thought-provoking questions in this episode and I loved it all. My favorite part happens early in the episode and Diane is watching Netflix and Kurt asks her what she's doing and she says she's trying to decide between a German show about serial killers and a Scandinavian show about serial killers. As someone who watches these kinds of shows, it was priceless.
The extended trailer looks fantastic. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season!

Shrill on Hulu was really good, the characters were so nuanced and believable.
