Oh God, when Nando burst into flames in the church, and Gizmo ran for water, I was yelling "Noooo! Not holy water!" I about peed myself laughing.
So many wonderful moments in this series. Tilda Swinton asking if Guillermo was lunch. The Baron doing a kegstand with a victim. The rumble with the werewolves. This is my new favorite series, and I cannot wait till season 2.
I'm sending my boss to Toronto (where the series is filmed) for a conference in about a month. I've asked him to keep his eyes peeled for anything WWDITS-related.

Thanks to a massive bout of insomnia I binged the entire season last night. It was hilarious. I'm kinda sad I finished so fast. The characters are so unique and funny. I have to admit, I went into it expecting something totally different. My friends said "vampire" and I was all in. I didn't expect it to be Vampires ala The Office lol

It was one of the most pleasant surprises I can remember. I loved Guillermo's story arc, and how they left clues from the pilot and throughout the series about his destiny, but I think Nandor is still my fave. I also really liked Beanie Feldstein's virgin vampire storyline. And Gregor's storyline... Just all of it.

I'm glad to see it's getting great reviews. I hate waiting week to week to watch shows, so I'm totally going to binge this show soon. I fell down the Taika Waititi (spelled it right on my first try! YES!!) rabbit hole last year. ONTD was raving about the original movie, and making posts about the funny/sexy director. I watched the movie, and it lived up to the hype. Then there was Thor: Rangnarok, #2 on my all time favorite Marvel movie list. And then there was all the cute and funny bts videos and interviews on YT. Now I'm hooked. He's amazing. I'll watch anything he puts out. Heck, I just want to sit and listen to him talk. Sorry, I went all fangirl for a minute. I'm slightly disappointed the show isn't a continuation of the group from the first movie. I'd love to see sequel with more Taika, Jermaine, and of course, more sexy dancing from Deacon. But I'll definitely watch the series. I'm already spoiled about the cameos. Can't wait to see them again in character.

It's an easy binge. Ten 30-minute shows. There's not a bad one in the bunch.

Yeah, I finished all 10 episodes in five days--and that's only because I made myself only watch 2 a day to stretch out the enjoyment.
And a week later I'm still chuckling at "Mike/Fucking Mike."

I predict (hope hope hope) Weird Al makes an appearance. He inexplicably posted this picture on his Instagram page about three months ago. Fingers crossed....
