For those of you that have IFC and like Matt Berry (Laszlo), his show "Year of the Rabbit" is airing now and it's pretty funny! Not as funny as WWDITS, but funny none-the-less. It's about London detectives in the early 1900s.

It's about London detectives in the early 1900s. Thanks - haven't seen "Year of the Rabbit" yet, I will look for it! A Brit friend introduced me to Matt Berry's series "Toast of London", about a self-absorbed, frequently out-of-work actor, Steven Toast. Toast's voice-over work scenes, including his exchanges with Clem Fandango, reduce me to giggle-snorts every time.

The first two episodes of the new season are out and it's as good as ever.

The first two episodes of the new season are out and it's as good as ever. I’m so happy it’s back. This show just brings me joy. I love that Nadja is completely ruthless in her new position. And how Guillermo still runs the household, even though he’s imprisoned.

I just read that Kayvan Novak impersonated the voices of Matt Berry and Harvey Guillen in the "cloak of duplication" scenes in the second episode. I just assumed he was lipsyncing them, but that was him. That's impressive!

Also, how perfect is it that the younger energy vampire was a stoner? I mean, who else to just ramble on about crap you don’t care about, draining your energy.

I haven’t been able to get to WWDITS, but I have seen Wellington Paranormal, which is apparently a spin-off. Loads of fun. Anybody else catch it?

I'm loving Wellington Paranormal! It definitely find its footing around episode 5 - 6. It's actually a spin-off of the original movie--the cops are in the movie, and so is Vampire Nick.

Do I need to watch the movie before watching the series?

Do I need to watch the movie before watching the series? No, you can jump right in. There are some jokes that reference the movie (like characters from the movie occasionally popping up), but it’s very much it’s own thing and knowing the movie isn’t necessary. Wellington Paranormal has been on my “I mean to watch this” list for a while. Despite the Wellington connection I didn’t realize that it’s a spin-off.
