Camilla Cabello admitted to stealing a pencil from Kensington Palace when she visted a few weeks ago, and the KP twitter reply to it was great. A little wholesome royal fun amidst all the disturbing scandals.

Wow, Kate was dripping with diamonds from the Queen's vault last night for the Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace. Gorgeous navy velvet dress by McQueen. She's worn the Cambridge Lovers' Knot tiara to this event every year since 2015. She also borrowed the Nizam of Hyderabad necklace which she has worn before to other events. I think it works well with the neckline of her gown. The ring and earrings are also borrowed, the Queen wore the ring on an overseas trip and Sophie has been photographed in the earrings. Finally, she's also wearing her Royal Family Order (for female members of the RF, it's the yellow ribbon thing with HM's portrait) and the sash is for the Royal Victorian Order. Looking very regal at this event!

Kate looked gorgeous. I like to think the queen called her beforehand and said, "You wear all the diamonds. I'll wear all the emeralds."

The dress was definitely picked (made? altered?) specifically for the necklace, and, like, wowza. So many diamonds! I don't actually like the Queen's emeralds but they are certainly very royal in scale.

Any British Greecies get to catch A Berry Royal Christmas documentary? It seems like it was very well received.

Any British Greecies get to catch A Berry Royal Christmas documentary? It seems like it was very well received. I might have gasped aloud when I read that two of my favorite things (anything or anyone from GBBS, plus royals) were intersecting. As of this moment, you can find it on YouTube, but I predict it will soon be taken down, since it wasn't put there by the BBC.

I watched. I don't know what to make of William. He seemed a little obnoxious. Mary Berry is a treasure, of course. Kate still seems a bit uptight and uncomfortable.
So at the last minute of the special there's a shot of Will putting his hand on Catherine's back and she shrugs it off with a quickness. It's made a few headlines already. It does seem a bit like he's in the dog house, which lends an air of truth to those affair rumors.
Sorry. I like drama and am totally fine with the Cambridges picking up where the Sussexes left off. 😁

I won't watch this special because it seems a little too twee and British for me to be able to take for any period of time. I saw a clip of Mary handing Kate a bag of white frosting and asking her if she'd like to have a little squirt on a cake. That was good enough for me.
