Having just saw her show in London this past weekend, I was thrilled to see that she met with the Southport families after. Those poor kids and families literally lived through a nightmare. glad she gave them some joy. And can NOT WAIT until she endorses Kamala. Shut up trump. |

This would be a great week for her to endorse Harris with the DNC happening right now. There was already a tacit endorsement by allowing RI to use "Shake It Off" as their song for the DNC roll call. Same with Beyonce allowing her song to be used for Texas's roll call song. I'm not too concerned about not harnessing the power of the Beyhive and TaylorNation |

She posted some pictures from her tour with a long caption, and (I’m paraphrasing) she mentioned that something construed as silence is not reacting to something that could put her fans in danger, and there will be a time and place to react to things she’s been “silent” about.

Nope I think her IG message was specifically referring to the Vienna shows that were canceled due to the terrorist plot. She states: "I'm not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows. In cases like this one, 'silence' is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself a time when it's right to. My priority was finishing our European tour safely, and it is with great relief that I can say we did that". I can't say I blame her. I would be freaking terrified. |

OK, that's understandable. What's stopping her from endorsing Harris/Walz? I know she wasn't going to be at the DNC, but she has (way too much) public sway and this election needs more voters towards not Agent Orange.

I was feeling the same but I think lizziebeth730 made a great point a little bit upthread (and I'm paraphrasing) but that she's got a great PR team and they are probably withholding an actual endorsement until the time is right. They may be waiting until October or so to really pack a punch. |
