Man, this is a ride. All of it is evidence of why trial by internet is just not a good idea. FOR REAL REAL. So, basically, they're all the worst. It still doesn't excuse Chrissy. Just means this Costello guy is also an asshole. YES! Hard to pick a dog in this fight because they both apparently suck. I don’t know if I believe “a teigen insider” but if this Costello dude doctored screenshots - loser. Eventually that would have come to light - especially w/ Teigen. She is not exactly for turning the other cheek gracefully! Also ... can someone teach me how to doctor screenshots? One of my go to moves during an argument w/ my SO is “do you want to see the text string” ... knowing damn well I can’t send it because the majority of the string is me telling my friend how much he sucks!!! Don’t recommend this approach btw ! I may have mentioned this but my taste in men is total shit LOL |

Also ... can someone teach me how to doctor screenshots? I have never done it because I'm not a sociopath, but I think it would be relatively easy. Just very time consuming and tedious. Create a text conversation with yourself. (Or even better, with your burner phone, if you have one. Rename your burner phone contact as "Chrissy Teigen" or whoever you wish to incriminate.) Text back and forth the conversation that you want to invent. Take screenshots with your phone. Download the screenshots to your computer. Use Photoshop or some other program (I'm a fan of Microsoft Paint) to arrange or delete the individual text blurbs as needed. Assemble the time stamps you need by copying and pasting from other screenshots. Voila! |

There are also websites that will generate a fake text exchange for you, you just have to put in the text/names.

John chimed in on the Costello drama, which yeah, he's standing by his wife. Kudos I guess. I saw a Tweet where he responded to someone basically saying, "Don't tell me anything about my wife. I know who she is, I married her, had kids with her."
I can see his intention of how he probably thought it comes off as him defending her and knows her best obviously.
But it also says to me, you're just as complicit in enabling her terrible behaviour.

Tom and Lorenzo talked about the Michael Costello situation on their podcast this week. TLo started off as a Project Runway fan blog, so they were once a lot closer to that world and they say they know a ton of dirt about contestants, people in the show, etc. They would not go into detail about Michael Costello, but what they did say is basically echoed in the episode recap they put up on their site:
They reminded everyone that the type of person who goes on a reality show competition tends to have an attention-seeking personality and there's a lot of baggage that comes with that kind of personality.
That said, they were extremely complementary toward Christian Siriano and Katya from Drag Race as being lovely people.

Wait, T&L talk about Katya? On the podcast or the blog? (I read the blog regularly but don't frequently listen to the podcast.) Sorry to get tangential but I love her beyond all reason.

I was still watching PR back in those days. As I remember it, I actually really liked Michael Costello, and I remember there were a group of women who always seem to be picking on him and being mean. I later heard from one of those women that he was actually an ass during the show, and she didn’t understand why he received such a sympathetic edit from the show runners,
I haven’t really kept up with him since then, but it sounds like my initial impression of him was wrong. Blech.
