Cremetangerine82, I didn't find it out of line to talk about Tom's hatred of antidepressants. I was more shocked that he brought up what a horrible parent he is.

I am not saying it wasn't deserved, I am just shocked someone went there.

He's kept his oldest children away from their mother (Nicole Kidman) and abandoned his youngest daughter to Katie Holmes due to his allegiance to a cult. If I was giving him a grade for parenting, I give him a F.

I'm sorry, I didn't find the anti-depressant joke to be out of line. I'll never forget Tiny-Brained Tommy telling Brooke Shields that $cientology would help her postpartum depression than therapy/psychoactive medicine. Even Matt Lauer called him out about saying that, along with other lies ("You don't know the history of psychology, Matt! I do!"). That I remember more than the Oprah couch jumping.

Again, he was a celebrity I never liked, and was happy to finally to see him show his ass and become a clambake of embarrassment. I have the deepest sympathy for Bella and Connor, and I hope they can leave the cult and connect with Nicole Kidman.

If my memory is correct, this was after Shields revealed having suicidal and/or homicidal ideations concerning herself and her infant, and acknowledging that medication had helped her. Then they had a private meeting after he was publicly criticized and she was gracious about it. But then he had to release a public statement that reminded me of those apologies where the celebrity will say they're sorry, but still totally right.

Still can't stand him.

FiggyPudding, thanks for reminding me of the press release. As someone who has two degrees in psychology, I most definitely know the history of psychology. During that Lauer interview (imagine a point where Matt Lauer had the moral high ground!), Cruise claims that Carl Jung worked for the Nazis. That wouldn't have happened; Jung didn’t and was friends with Jewish Sigmund Freud. That type of $cientology propaganda is dangerous and quite implicitly anti-Semitic. Glad I never liked Tom Cruise, but that disgusting lie really crossed the line for me. I just couldn't watch Top Gun: Maverick because of this.

I like Rebecca Ferguson on Silo so I hope this is just for publicity for the movie. And why would Tom need fillers? You would think that would go against scientology since they think they can never get sick or need medical interventions. Actually, I don't know if they are against medical interventions, but it seems like something they'd be against.

Their characters are romantically involved in the MI movies, yes? They're playing it up for the cameras. Just like Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain did.

I can't wait to see MI 7. Cruise is a crazy little tyrant, but he makes some great action movies.
