I’m really interested in seeing the Diana, Princess of Wales movie (love Jackie by the same director), but I can’t stand KStew.
Her “Oscar me, please!” talk is deeply infuriating to me, and the thought of her getting an Oscar nomination (a shoo-in) before Robert Pattinson makes my blood boil.

My late night Circle K guy is a huge film buff. Always has a review at the ready and has not steered me wrong yet. Last night he warned me off this one. He'd been interested and went into it with an open mind. Said it was horrid. That he dozed off twice. K Stew was atrocious, and spends the entire film doing the shy Di, head ducked sideways glance thing and that he was really disappointed because Diana had a pretty eventful and interesting life.
He also said The French Dispatch was wonderful.

It's going to be a very weird awards year. Nicole Kidman won the Golden Globe for playing Lucille Ball, over Kristen, Lady Gaga, Jessica Chastain, and Olivia Coleman. Only Olivia Coleman was playing a fictional character, the rest of the nominees were biopics. I think Spencer is losing some buzz.
I am interested to see if she's nominated for a BAFTA. Prince William is the patron and usually attends the awards. So it's going to be interesting if she's nominated for playing his mother and he's in the audience. Especially since the film is more of an atmospheric fantasy reimagination and not a straight biopic. Same goes for the Oscars if Prince Harry attends. Of course Covid may factor into all of this.

The new KStew is probably close to actually getting a Oscar nomination, and possibly the win. I’m sure she’s trying to do anything to make her seem like she should be the one to get the gold, regardless of the quality of her performance.

She got shut out for a SAG nomination, which is telling, as those are votes directly from her peers. I still think she'll get an Oscar nom, but like Ladybug noted, I think that hot buzz has faded significantly on her.

She lost the golden globe and didn’t even get a SAG nomination. If she wins the Oscar, it’s will be a huge upset. I do think she will get nominated but I think she’s dead in the water for any more awards, other than maybe the BAFTA.
Her fans must be losing their minds right now. I am pretty big into the awards race and they have been going on for months how she was the lock for all awards and going after anyone who suggested anyone else had a shot.

Why do you think she will get the Oscar nom if she didn’t get the SAG nom? Who would be dropped in her favour?
