I think the SAG awards went a bit rogue this year from what is expected. I think the Oscar’s may try to be more predictable. I admit, she may totally miss out as I believe there is overlap between the SAG and Oscar’s voting members and clearly SAG did not like Spencer. There was also some rumors that film Twitter was the driving force behind the raves and the industry didn’t actually like it. If she doesn’t get a BAFTA nomination she’s absolutely done. I think Jennifer Hudson will be the one who misses out on an Oscar nomination if they decide to go with Kristin as she was the SAG surprise in the category. It’s tough because I am shocked at Kidman being there as her performance looked kind of terrifying but she seems like a shoe in now after the Golden Globe win and now SAG nomination so it’s harder for me to predict. I am definitely not good at betting though so take this all with a huge grain of salt. Lol.

Kidman is so good in Being the Ricardos, so I'm not surprised at all--very well-deserved. I do think Jennifer Hudson might get left out of an Oscar nom, but there's also Alana Haim to consider--the Academy could go for the first acting job nod.
Having said that, if Kristen doesn't get a nomination, her stans will go insane. They're already losing it over the SAG omission.

Thanks for that. I really have not seen any of the performances this year other than Nicole’s. Which to me was ok. When she was TV Lucy, she was very impressive. But real life Lucy was kinda meh for me.
The previews of Spencer did not appeal to me at all. So I don’t find it hard to believe that her stans were the ones to stir up the chatter for a non existent love of the performance.
I am here with popcorn if she misses out. 😅

She did not get a BAFTA nomination for Spencer. Prince William is already getting blamed on Twitter for the snub. Because he is personally involved in the nominations, right?

I just saw a clip from the movie where she's eating soup and breaks her pearl necklace, the pearls fall into the soup and she continues to eat, crunching on the pearls. Granted it's one clip taken out of a movie I haven't seen but it was so over the top she appeared rather ridiculous to me.

William is President of BAFTA. So, while I don’t think he is personally involved in the nominations, I can see how KS fans make the connection. It is more logical than them believing KS has hidden babies with Robert Pattinson.

Well, yes, but aliens coming to earth and impregnating her is also more logical than the RPattz hidden babies scenario.

Honestly, good for him if he was. The whole "Diana's ghost approved" campaign bullshit was incredibly gross. (I don't actually think he was, for the record.)

She didn’t get a SAG nom so the writing was on the wall she’s on a downward trend. Critics need to stop trying to make her happen to the GA.
The real shocker is no Coleman, Kidman or Andrew Garfield.

I have no theory that Prince William was involved in the “denial” of a BAFTA nomination, but I would be sick if someone was talking about how close they were to my mother’s spirit and they never even met my mother. The exploitation of her is astonishingly long-lived.
