Unless you are selling the world’s best strawberry jam, let’s face it it’ll just be another jam. People will buy it solely because of the branding or they won’t buy it because of that… Taylor Swift could probably sell strawberry jam to the masses, I’m doubtful Meghan can. In other news, Harry & Meghan are making a faux Royal visit to Nigeria in May. Sounds like Nigeria wants to host a future Invictus games so has invited the pair to curry favour. Can’t wait to see what ill-fitting, wrinkled designer duds Meghan wears. Oh joy, more faux royal touring. The thing is with these trips is that it's never about the organisation or charities involved, it's always the Harry and Meghan show. I don't blame Nigeria for inviting them if they want to host Invictus and/or highlight other issues though. I do think it's a little umm, hypocritical to complain about the Commonwealth being "empire 2.0" and use anti colonialism for their own purposes in their fight against the BRF and then do what is sure to be a publicity stunt in one said country. To be clear anti colonialism is definitely not wrong ever, but these two couldn't care less about it except when it's useful to them. I know Nigeria invited them for it's own purposes and they aren't just turning up but royals always get invited to do tours of countries for the country's own purposes and that doesn't stop it being criticised. On to lighter subjects, I love Bon Maman jam, had no idea they did so many flavours, I wonder if they are available in the UK? Meghan is in many ways a fairly basic person (her big dream is to be an influencer/creator in Hollywood but just higher than everyone else because title, the Tig was pretty standard) so I can see why she went with strawberry jam. It's classic and there is something of a craze going on it seems. I can see why BP is doing it and for them most of why people buy it is the jar (like Coronation tea or biscuits). But yeah, I can't see too many non squad people getting excited over an ARO label. I don't even by stuff like this from celebrities I like. But it would be interesting to see her branch out into more "curated boutique " flavours as I'm sure her team would call it.

I never knew Jams and Jellies were so polarizing! Can't say that I really blame her. I think it's for the best, as the British public doesn't seem to like her much, and this way she doesn't draw attention away from the Invictus Games: Meghan not joining Harry on trip to London

An event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the games sounds like an opportunity for Harry to get a free trip to the UK on Invictus. Can’t say I blame Meghan for skipping that one.
Meghan isn’t going to the UK allegedly because of the lack of security but jetting off to Nigeria is safer? I’m guessing Nigeria will roll out the red carpet and provide them with the armoured vehicles, armed officers and attention that these two think they deserve.
The Sussexes often get compared to Edward & Wallis and the later did have a nasty habit of cozying up to foreign politicians who gave them the recognition they craved and well, that didn’t really work out so well for the Windsors. I can’t say I think Meghan & Harry have more sense or diplomacy to not to step into a political minefield one of these days.

How much juice are they going to try to squeeze out of Invictus? This is what, the 3rd or 4th trip this year?

I have liked what Meghan has worn during this visit but the last two days I have noticed a difference between how she dresses and every other woman she has met. I am not a prude by any means but she has shown a bit too much skin.

Agreed. That was my thought when I saw that black and white dress with thin straps, a cut out on the chest, and a split all the way up the thigh. It really stood out as not quite appropriate, no one else was dressed like that.

I think she looks great. More relaxed and natural than in a long time. The yellow dress she wore today was beautiful.

She can’t get invited to red carpet events in Hollywood, so she treats these “philanthropic” events as her chance to wear red-carpet outfits.

Tina Brown on BBC: There is a Harry & Meghan shaped holeIt seems that Tina Brown is changing her mind about Harry and Meghan and what they would have brought to the Royal Family. An interview clip from BBC is available within the linked tweet. She seems to think that they Royals and the Sussexes should repair their rift, as it will benefit and modernize the monarchy. (If I recall, in the past, she's been a harsh critic of the Sussexes.)
