Oh, I agree cancan. But, to be clear, I never said she hated it. I was reflecting on what it would be like to do things like this almost every day for the rest of your life. It is quite different to pop in to a few events every couple of years, versus doing it for say 200- 300 days of the year, for the rest of your life. I couldn't do it. Some ppl can. eta: I also know she :1 : signed up for this life (although she did then leave it) 2: Her and Harry went on and on (and on and on and on) about how awesome they would be at it and how they were SO READY for it. They were clearly wrong.

I don't agree with how they left, and I think they came across as entitled spoiled brats almost all of the time. I am no fan of either of them. I also could never live the royal life.

I don’t think she’s pregnant. Didn’t they say they only wanted 2 kids? I dislike her for many things, but I give her mad props for not dieting herself into oblivion after either of her pregnancies. Her fashion missteps with trying to fit and flatter her post-pregnancy body are relatable. (Although it still does scream “tailor your clothes already, you can afford it!”). She looks lovely and healthy.

Then again, she hasn't made many public appearances - so I could be wrong. Looking at a few pics of the last few days a part of me did think/ wonder if this just confirms for her the choice to leave. Being bombarded by people, taking photos every second of you for hours on end... the constant chit chat you'd have to do with every person you meet. I always wondered how royals did that bit: small talk never ending with hundreds of people over and over and over again... on top of every move you make being filmed... any ill timed scratch or adjustment ... a nightmare for someone like me. (I did not sign up for it though... so ... ;p)

I wondered whether she was pregnant myself. She looks radiant, and she wears wide-leg pants well, but the sloppy oversized jacket is swamping her and just looks silly. (@fitz , I laughed out loud at the Talking Heads mention.)

Is it painted upside down because the country is at war? My parents are from the Philippines and they told me that when the Philippines was at war, the flags were flown upside down.

Typically it's only when you're in distress (as in, your ship is being attacked.) Either way, Ukrainians aren't flying their flag upside down, so it would be presumptuous of an outsider to do so. Plus, she wrote "peace" right-side up.
