I think Prince Laurent of Belgium is always on the edge of legality with most of his "business". Also is a whiny, suicidal bee-yotch, unfortunately, even though he's got a nice wife and sweet kids. But Cristina and Inaki are pretty full-on with the corruption. Also, the Romanian royals have some sketch - one princess got busted in the US for dog-fighting. That's all the royal scandal I can think of off the top of my head.

Is Laurent the one who was rumored to be transgender and coerced to reverse or stop some of the hormonal treatments? ETA: And not to be pedantic about the gossip of deposed royals, but it wasn't dogfighting, it was cockfighting. Irina's sisters seem to be more orderly, although there were a few bribery scandals and the occasional dating of Gordon Brown. Related, I'm always surprised that King Michael is still alive. He's 94! And it's relevant-ish to the topic because the Romanian royals are related to the Spanish royals. Yay! |

Sigh. I used to have respect for the Spanish royals because they seemed hard working and modest. There were rumors of Juan Carlos' affairs for years, but...him and a zillion other public figures. I really hope Felipe and Letizia stay scandal-free.

Damn, this is a good looking couple. I thought, many moons ago, that they seemed like total cold fish. Now they, (and WA and Max) seem like the warmest, happiest of the bunch. But WA and Max always seemed crazy into each other.
