Say, what do y'all think about having a thread for NaNoWriMo? Maybe in the Literary forum? It's coming up next week, and I think a few folks on here are either planning to do it or have done it in the past.

Nanowrimo is an event in November where you are challenged to write a 50K word novel in 30 days.

I keep trying to add an avatar - I've been going to "modify my profile" and pasting the url there (a photo from Flickr, so it has a url...) and then I click the modify profile button at the bottom and... no avatar. Then I go back into "modify my profile" and the url I pasted isn't there. What am I doing wrong?

You need to add the avatar's width and height in the boxes under the URL. Usually 100X100 is the standard size.

Shoot - I did that too. Just typed 100 in each line - is there more to it?

Hit return after putting in the url.

Still won't work. When I hit return after putting in the url, it takes me back to the main "modify profile" page. Le sigh. I think I am slow.
