Would it be possible to have a Wedding Thread in the General Interest section?

Some wedding-related topics came up in the fashion/beauty thread, and I commented it would be good to have a thread just to discuss weddings, ideas, problems, etiquette, etc. Several people agreed. How about it?

All the fun we've been having in the" Mommie Dearest" and "Valley of the Dolls" threads have made me ponder all my favorite good awful bad campy movies. Would a Campy Movie thread be appropiate? I mean, I doubt enough people are willing to trash talk "Leave Her to Heaven" that it would be worth starting a thread, but the topic in general might be a success.

I like the idea of a general Campy Movies thread, because I don't think a lot of the other ones have staying power as individual threads. But then we'd lose the previous individual movie trash talk. Does that even matter?

Mods? What do the rest of you guyses think?

I'd go for it. Some of the really early campy movies don't have a thread.

What happened to the threads on politics and news headlines and such - did they get too heated and had to be closed?
